Reviewed By Si HAfter a long drive down from Calais, we decided we needed a bed for the night. Using trip advisor we booked this hotel due to the price and location to the motorway. We arrived at 22.30 and easily checked in using the check in computer which gave us access to the room and also the gate for secure parking. The room was very clean and the bathroom was more than adequate. Breakfast was continental as expected.

Completely renovated and far enough from the roads to guarantee the necessary calm , the Kyriad Hotel Les 4 Pavillons is 10 minutes from Bordeaux city center and 20 minutes from Bordeaux Merignac Airport .

But in this case the rest of the hotel was also good (clean and hotel maintenance looks good) that is why I give a 4

Reviewed By Hchc01We stayed at this Hotel on route home from Spain, However when we arrived we didn’t realise it was in the middle of a Housing estate, which was very strange, the parking is secure with gates , rooms are very clean and spacious, and you could get BBC Television, staff friendly. We thought that there was a on site restaurant for an evening meal ( we don’t need fancy just functional) however they offer food that is brought in and then heated in a microwave, not a huge choice either mainly pizza. However there is a restaurant no more then 10 minutes walk called La Belle Époque that the receptionist suggested. The food was very good there , we had 2 starter, 2 main, (Chicken skewer, and Lamb Chop ) 3 glasses of wine , 2 coffee €60. Young girl in there spoken English. Over all a good convenient stop.

Not worth it, even with low prices! Do not stay there!
Reviewed By vhjart261000I have stayed (even with my family) in budget hotels all over Europe, and had no problems, but despite the low prices this hotel is not worth the slight savings! When we arrived, the parking lot was filled with industrial cars and 15-20 road workers fresh from a hard day's work (you know the type of gentlemen) sitting outside smoking and getting drunk. The smoke that filled the parking lot, the lobby and could even be smelled in the room I visited when I was requesting to cancel my booking were not the worst part though. It was the lewd ogling to which they subjected the few women walking by - to which I was not willing to subject my wife and teenage daughter who waited in the car. Therefore, I politely requested to cancel my booking but was met with a "computer says no" attitude and my reasons for wanting to back out of this hotel were disregarded by the manager. I understand, as the manager informed me, that these kinds of gentlemen are the hotel's main clients, and that is perfectly OK. Considering that I was there with family and woke up three times during the night as these clients came and went with "acquired companionship" of their own I do however believe it should be somehow indicated on the platforms the hotel advertises. That is in fact the point of leaving this review, i.e. indicating that this is not a hotel for family people or people who appreciate a good and uneventful sleep.

Reviewed By ThespyNormandyAppalling don’t book this place .We couldn’t believe that this place was offering accommodation to the public .It looked as though it needed to be demolished the exterior the interior all in need of major repairs .The room offered was not clean the bathroom sink had long black hairs in which we have photographed .We did not stay it took us nearly 2 hours to find alternative accommodation at a cost of € 262 for 2 nights we had driven 3and a half hours to visit an exhibition and visit Bordeaux.Apparently there was a shortage of accommodation in the city as some big conference was taking place almost 2 hours of searching we eventually found some where 25 miles from where we wanted to be .As a retired pensioners in our late seventies this was an exhausting and stressful experience not to say the unexpected costs incurred. hopefully the LOUVRE hotel group will have the courtesy to offer us some compensation for the very distressing experience .

Reviewed By Mr94aleqIn toilet you can’t wash your hands, you have to do it your room. Unacceptable to call yourself as hotel! Rooms were clean, but lacks power outlet. I had to use TV power outlet... At least there is close tram station to take you to city center.
