Restaurant is small with only few tables but they served very good and authentic Thai food from phad Thai, tom yum soup, panaeng curry, and others. A good Thai iced coffee too is served here. The owner is family with friendly attitude to serve guest. Price wise is standard for Switzerland and quality is more than acceptable. Highly recommended for Thai food in Bern altstadt.

Was getting tired of Italian and Swiss food so we did change up and tried this small restaurant. First warning, when in Europe and traveling with more than 4 ppl, you need to reserve for dinner anywhere you go, otherwise there is no guarantee you will get a table even if the place is empty. European restaurant seems like they will hold your table 1 or more hr before you arrive. Anyway, the basil shrimp and Cantonese fried rice were on point! Even the noddle dishes were surprisingly good. Service was a little stiff it seems, not very friendly but adequate. Do if you need a Chinese/Asian fix in Berne, this is the place.

I came here with a few girlfriends the other night. There are a few tables outside that are lovely to sit at if it's warm enough! We were told all about the different dishes and their recommendations which was very helpful. The food was wonderful and both Moon and her husband are very friendly and extremely enthusiastic about what they do! Will definitely be returning!Ich war letzten Abend mit einigen Freundinnen im Café. Es hat draussen einige Tische die im Sommer perfekt sind! Uns wurden verschiedene Gerichte erklärt und verschiedene Empfehlungen gemacht, welche sehr hilfreich waren. Das Essen war wunderbar und der Service ebenfalls super! Moon und Ihr Mann sind sehr enthusiastisch und freundlich, wir werden definitiv wieder hier essen kommen!

This restaurant was still closed when we came but we were able to have a sneak preview of the inside. Nice interior in great Asian/modern style. The outside seating is standard Swiss. We stayed at the hotel and had our first evening meal at the restaurant Yu within the building. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, the staff is welcoming and nice. The food is superbe. I had a yummy lunch with mixed beef and carrots, accompanied by rice (CHF 14). The service so far is good, but partially self-service (drinks, chekout). 2.50 for a little bottle of a soft drink is very advantageous.It's located in a block where there are other restaurants (1 Chinese, 1 other Thai, 1 Pizza and Döner). For lack of a parking I had to walk for a while. The interior is basic, but well-kept.It's an acceptable spot, but competition is very keen in this area. All the best wishes !
