The proprietor of the Casa Abuelo had recommended this place-- it is not impressive-looking from the outside, and is not oriented to tourists, more to local residents. I had an appetizer of nicely grilled calamari and a main course of lubina, washed down with sidra natural. Service was friendly and the waiter was happy to use his English-- the orujo digestif was very delicate. Prices were very good for the quality.

We popped into here while staying near by. Lovely little town and Casa del Mar sits up high on a rock side with a good view over the little port with its boats.Very clean inside and obviously specializes in tasty fish!Reasonable prices and staff friendly.

We were recommended to try this restaurant by our accommodation in Tapia, but also by another hotelier about an hours drive away where we had spent the previous night. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and is typically Spanish. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious and comparable to prices elsewhere in Northern Spain. We asked what something was that locals were eating on the bar, and were promptly included in the tasting! We were made to feel very welcome.Also, we'd been reviewing some pics on my camera and had left it on the table. The waiter politely interrupted our dinner to call us outside and view the sun setting over the port. It was absolutely beautiful, and as we were only in Tapia for 1 night, much appreciated!

Some friends recommended it and we weren't deceived. The waiter was very friendly and knew what he was doing. Went in the weekend and was necessary to book and go for a walk. Had various plates which were well cooked and tasty. The homemade rice with milk was very nice. Also the tarta de abuela was good. Boquerones are worth it.

Stumbled upon this place walking the Camino del Norte. Stopped for a quick beer on my way to Ribadeo and instead of peanuts, or tortilla on a piece of bread I was offered a 5-bite sample of their arroz con pollo. The last thing I needed before walking another 13km was a full menu with wine, postre & dessert. But the combination of the sampler and the E9 price gave me no choice. The staff is totally professional and makes it very obvious that they are really serious about providing a great product / experience.

We stopped here for lunch and were delighted to see Gazpacho on the menu, the first place in Asturias we had seen it! It was delicious and accompanied by some croquettas was an extremely tasty meal! They also brought us some appetisers and a shot of 43 to finish off. A great lunch and would definitely go again for lunch or dinner!

A local tavern where you can savor local delicacies. My cousin who lives nearby brought me here and we shared a delicious octopus and codfish, both perfectly prepared. Also delightful was the rice pudding. It was a bit expensive at 18-20 euros a plate. Lunch for two was 50 euros. That is really a lot for a place that looks like this one does. Prices should be about half the price.

We were recommended this place and to order the hake stew, which we did, along with some gorgeous Calamari and a tortilla Espagnol the size of a small dustbin lid. Despite not being able to converse very well, we had a laugh with the owners, and the food was really very good. We would go back.

Lovely little atmospheric bar on the harbour front..plenty of tables outside to people watch..the beer was good and cold.Menu was varied we had the cold mussels in a vinaigrette which were absolutely delicious..recommended..

Bel ristorante/bar ai piedi della statua di Volta.Interno elegante, esterno molto piacevole. Ho preso solo un caffè e sono stato dimenticato anche se eravamo in pochi alle 10 di mattina. Il caffè poi non era il massimo anzi. Ripasso per mangiare . Da rivedere
