It makes a real difference when you go to a restaurant and the treatment is good. The food was great, but even if it was not as great as it really was, the treatment experience was worth to remember. I would just say that it is the first time in my life that I requested the a la Carta and they convinced me to get the more affordable menu, which was delicious and very complete. A+++

Used TripAdvisor recommendation to find and try this interesting restaurant in the historic quarter of Pontevedra. They have interesting multi cuisine fusion choices on the menu and unique drink specialties. I tried their âfogar dos peixesâ drink which comes in a small fishbowl and has little cutout shapes of fish made of orange and lime peel that float in the blue colored drink. Very attentive service in a cool environment.

I visited the Casa Dora for a date dinner with my boyfriend. Place looks very nice and traditional but what's better is the food! Various types of fishes or seafood prepared with attention to details. I just loved it!! My favourite one - Salpicón de centolla - the best one I have ever eaten despite I have tried it many times!Also the gentlemen who served us was absolutely professional!

Have been here many times. Best for shellfish and other seafood. Fish fresh. Had turbot but suspect it was flounder instead.Continues to be a good place to eat.Le agradecemos mucho su opinión. Si algo na ha sido de su agrado háganoslo saber. "Errare humanum est". Esperamos y deseamos que siga viniendo como hasta ahora para degustar nuestros platos. El ambiente familiar del Avenida le sigue esperando. Gracias de nuevo.

We had dinner at this restaurant, which is quite difficult to find, since Google locates it on a similar address, but on a different village. We told them and they did not seem to care. The upstairs bar does not make you wish to go in, but the downstairs restaurant is well decorated and with friendly service. We were there for the seafood, a great reason to go to Galicia. It was fresh, but a little bit overcooked and the lobster rice, cooked with to much tomato and saffron. The reasonable price and the friendly cook (Paco) make up for what may have been a simple mistake, not to be repeated.

My husband and I went to Bar Umia based on the recommendation of our apartment host. The seafood is indeed hearty and generous in terms of portion size - authentic and local. Although I personally did not think much of the cuttlefish in squid ink, itâs a popular dish amongst the locals worth trying. Recommended as a humble and unassuming locale for local seafood fare.

This is an amazing restaurant. It looks unassuming from the outside. The food is extraordinarily delicious and the family that runs it takes great pains to be attentive and friendly in their service. You can tell they take pride in their cooking and their service. We had the scallops as appetizers and then I had the breem and my husband had the stingray as our mains. Lovely desserts were included, as was a good wine and liqueur at the end. Highly recommended.
