Heard good things about the on beach restaurant truck. The special Lobster Roll was costly at $ 15.00 for a small portion. It was tasty but did not compare in value with Jordan's which is off beach.

Overall Ben's crab sone of the best seafood restaurants I have been too, the food is amazing and very affordable. Their proportions are perfect more then most crab boil restaurants I have attended. The drinks are AMAZING!!! Only downside is on the weekends it is extremely busy so the serves are running all around sometimes its hard to get someones attention but the food quality, taste and service from one of managers was great!

Great new place for excellent seafood! Go to EGP Land & Sea I Island Park. Must have the seafood pot, it is awesome. A very cool new modern restaurant serving old school excellent seafood dishes with a today's flair. The pretzel TWIST is fabulous as is the Fried Calamari with Sweet Thai Chilly Sauce. Best Old Fashion I have had in a while, each one was just as good as the next and the next and the next as its the recipe not the bartender! Great live music while you eat! Perfect place for casual fun dinner with friends or family. Go now!

My family had breakfast at the Atlantica this morning. The hostess Shannon was so sweet. She sat us right away and before I even had a chance to ask. She got a high chair sent over for my son. Shannon also checked on our table once seated to make sure everything was good What a great way to start the day!!!

My son lives in Long Beach and it was his choice to meet there for dinner. Eclectic menu with a good amount of seafood. You order at the counter and they bring the food. Same with a pretty good selection of craft beers. Had a dinner special of Bay Scallops over Vegetable Risotto, which was excellent. We shared an order of of Shaved Brussel Sprouts, also very good

Bigelow's New England Fried

Reviewed By Gil Z

I'm out in New York for work and the first region I was at is the Long Island Area. The hotel clerk recommended a restaurant and I was going to go there but there was a dress code. Shorts was not one of those on the list for acceptable. Got on my iPhone and started to search and saw Bigelow's New England Fried Clams was not far away. Drove up and walked right in, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was just cool. The service was top notch, someone was always making sure us customers were being attended too and cups were always filled with whatever drink it was. The regulars were fun to listen to and the owner and son were there and they were chatting it up. It was a great experience and real nice to see that there are business out there that still take care of their customers.I ordered the Clams and fries and was so glad I did. Great fresh taste, a lot of clam strips by the way. Just overall good food, everything that I saw coming out looked really really good. By the way, being in New York I was torn to order Manhattan or New England style clam chowder, I went with the New England, WOW, it was screaming. Tasty and just damn good. If I come back out here again, would love for my famliy to come to this national landmark!!! Place has been there for over 80 years. Wishing them another 80. Thanks for a great experience and for the fantastic food!!

Pops Seafood Shack

You can eat inside, you can eat outside, you can eat in an outdoor, roofed-over booth, or you can settle into any one of the colorful Adirondack chairs, pop your feet into the sand, and keep cool by the water (Reynold's Channel), with an equally cool drink in hand. You'll enjoy your food and drink, whether you are inside, or out. (There is no food service in the beach area, unless you are with a pre-arranged party gathering). We ordered two kinds of wings, and Clams oreganata and they were all really, really good. Full clams, not the diced and overly-breaded stuff, and the wings were large, and came with good dipping sauces. My white sangria was quite watered down and had little taste, but the frozen rose and the Pina Coladas my table mates had were good and refreshing. We were kind of put off by the very sticky table top, which we covered with napkins or our elbows would have kept getting stuck. It made us feel like tables are not sufficiently cleaned off from the sweet and/or sticky drinks, although it appears that the busboys do a really thorough job. We ended up taking our drinks outside and topped off our afternoon with great people and boat-watching.

As a couple who normally enjoys cooking and eating in, we reserve dining out for special occasions. We ventured from Long Beach into Island Park to try the newest "finer dining" experiences available to us for Valentine Day.On street parking and valet easily available. Upon walking in, nice friendly staff, (though the " bopping heart headband" the sweet and kind greeter was wearing seemed a bit "silly" for this setting) but it was festive (and made it seem more casual). But seemed out of place.Atmosphere lovely and not stuffy, the decor was simple, but slightly stiff and not broken in yet (everything new)!. Crowd were locals, some slightly more dressed up than usual, but certainly not dressy. The reservation made a few weeks before allowed for quick entry . The bar was full but but not over crowded and tables were nicely spaced apart.Staff were plentiful and attentive (seemed to have a different person show up every few minutes, but they clearly were in good communications of what was happening or needed at each table ). Food was tasty and perfectly portioned . Higher management made their way around and greeted us. All staff were open and knowledgable about questions we had regarding its opening , history and future plans for growth (party room available)One disappointment were the white paper tablecloths laid over the linens. My "old fashioned " partner jokingly , but sarcastically said , he should ask for crayons. Not sure why they would go all out on finer atmosphere, food and service and put paper down on the linens, which kept getting caught under the cuff of his dinner jacket which he was getting annoyed about.Pricing was fair considering the quality of food and service. A nice touch was a black pearl key chain gift given at the end of the night. Such a generous and thoughtful gesture (they explained the owners history in jewelry making ).All in all , a nice addition to the finer eateries in our area. My only suggestion would be to drop the "too casual" elements such as the headboppers and paper tablecloths , to truly capture the audience this gem can ultimately stand to cater to sustain itself .Good luck and much success. We will be back on another special occasion and will recommend to others for better dining options in our area. Thank you !Thank you so much for your review! We like how you pick up on our subtleties, that means a lot to us. We keep the paper tops on our table to keep us just a bit in the casual category because we try to be known as a restaurant to come to any day of the week, and not just occasions! We apologize that it got to be a nuisance though, we definitely don't want to make our guests uncomfortable. We will look into that. We hope to see you again soon!

Peter's Clam Bar & Seafood Restaurant is Long Island's oldest Clam Bar. Everything is made from scratch and uses only the finest ingredients and freshest seafood available. We invite you to join us for another great summer!

So Peter’s clam bar is another place where cash is king!! Come prepared. It has a view overlooking the water and a landfill, lol.Clams were very good. The clam taco consisted of clams, tartar sauce and cabbage on a tortilla. It was very basic but had a nice clam flavor. Other people in my party got the linguine with mussels which had large pieces of garlic and a generous amount of mussels. The taco and pasta dishes came with a drink. The cheeseburger was a little over-cooked, but this is a seafood joint....The price for the hamburger platter $7.50 and the others were $13.99.

Jordan's Lobster Farm

Jordan Lobster is a full service seafood restaurant with a retail store. We also have a clam bar and backyard bar which is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day weather permitting.

Dined on a Monday evening and was seated right away. Outside seating area was available. I thought that would have been enjoyable since restaurant states waterfront location. Quickly regretted that choice. Menu had a large selection of seafood options. Chose Lobster cakes, served with fries and coleslaw. Only tasted peppers and breading, not much lobster. Coleslaw was bland. They have a walk up counter to order carry out. I wanted to like this place but didn’t have a nice enough experience to recommend.
