Okotoks (/ˈoʊkətoʊks/, originally /ˈɒkətɒks/) is a town in the Province of Alberta, Canada. It is situated on the Sheep River, approximately 18 km (11 mi) south of the City of Calgary. The town is a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership, a cooperative of municipalities within the Calgary Region. Okotoks has emerged as a bedroom community of Calgary. According to the 2016 Census, the town has a population of 28,881, making it the largest town in Alberta.

We held a beautiful wedding reception at D'Arcy Ranch in their banquet room. During our original visit to tour the space we met Barb and Deb, and they are both amazing. All the folks at D'Arcy Ranch are extremely friendly, and most accommodating. Our questions were answered quickly and accurately. The entire process of booking, choosing meals and bar service, availability to access the space whenever needed and time for set up and decorating, were all handled so easily and stress free. We chose a buffet style dinner, but there were wait staff available to serve the wedding party as well as a few of our elderly guests. Once again, I must state that the staff were so professional and polite throughout the evening and provided anything we needed quickly. The food was so well prepared, and delicious, especially the prime rib. Our guests complimented us throughout the evening on the amazing food and service. This hall is a hidden gem and what I would consider affordable. When I first visited, I was hesitant as it does seem a bit dark and has lower ceilings, but it truly has the ability to be transformed into a gorgeous space as you can see in the photos. We are so happy we chose this spot and would certainly recommend it to others.

We went to the Duke with our son and daughter in law and our grandchildren on Friday night. Place was fairly busy but the service was outstanding. Our waitress was Megan and she was friendly, smiley, knowledgeable and just a joy to have serve us. I did a little bantering with her and she never skipped a beat. Came back to see us several times and was always pleasant and smiling. Our order was correct and she continued to come by to ensure all was well even though she was looking after several tables at the time. Excellent service!!!

Awesome gem in Okotoks. Service is amazing. Lori gave incredible service. We taste tested an amazing dark ale from a local brewery in Black Diamond, Hard Knox Brewery Grunt Work dark ale. Loved our pint. Also enjoyed a pint of High River Floating Barn Ale. Beef stuffed Yorkies, yummy!We will be back.

The hotel we were staying said we could get 10 % off if you showed them your key. That settled it, we were going there. I had the 500 calorie burger, it was really good, my husband had the fish which also was good. But the couple we were with had lasagne and it was warm. They took it back to heat again, but I was wondering if they freeze the meal prepared and take it out when it is ordered. Got the 10 % off, though.

My husband and I went for lunch. I had beef dip with tasty shoestring fires. Enough to sink a ship! It was so yummy. My husband had the hammer slammer; eggs, toast, hash browns, waffles, ham and bacon. He ate it all! Of cold we had nice cold beer ! Nice friendly service Hi!What a wonderful way to start the day!
