Visited on a Thursday and wasn't that packed. The atmosphere is great with dimmed lights and a cool beer garden. The bartender, Ricardo, stood out demonstrating great knowledge of music, world politics, history and business. Service was prompt and immaculate. Try the michelada by all means! Pricewise, it would turn off a great deal of customers though..

My dining partners and I just ate at Aleg. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed my chicken Cordon Bleu immensely. Others in my group enjoyed the coconut shrimp and spaghetti carbonara. The prices are more than average for Loja, but very well worth it! Service was professional and very friendly. La Mancha is a great cafe to chill out at, meet locals, drink some coffee, have some snacks or a full meal. Often times on weekends they will have live music, varying in style from classic Ecuadorian music to a full on rock concert. Several of the good friends I've made here I've met at La Mancha.

I have been there a few times with friends. Itâs a cozy place to hang out and sometimes catch music. They have good bottled craft beers and the food is light but delicious.

You will not only be wowed when you see the place (which is a residential house turned pub), you don't expect a place like this in Loja, but you will also be delighted with the kind of craft beer they serve here, which is crafted in the house by the owners themselves. I lived in the states for five years and I have to say that never in my life there did I hear of a beer like the ones I had here. You just go and try them, they are out of this world, especially because they are so unique in their ingredients (you'll be more than amazed). The only thing missing here is an IPA which they said they are still working on, since the place is recent (no more than just a couple of years). The owners are also the nicest and the place has a Cambridge, MA-kind of atmosphere/style. Definitely recommended.

This is the place to go for a great meal, wonderful company with a very relaxed atmosphere. We have been frequenting Gringo's now for a couple of months. We enjoy the variety of dishes, always superb. A very fine selection of beers on tap brewed by the owner. Always quite hospitable and fun to be at. Highly recommend you dropping by while in Loja.Hi. My boyfriend and I visited Gato Suco for a quick dinner in Loja. The place is very modern and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service prompt. The menu is small but has some great choices. We both opted for falafel, and it was fantastic - very tasty, great portion sizes and excellent value for money! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for quality at reasonable prices!
