Thankfully I was able to find a healthy eatery here in Loja (Thanks to a young lady who worked in a nearby health food store who recommended this place). I just couldnât stomach another almuerzo and longed for some vegetarian options. The menu here isnât extensive, but offers plenty of delicious salads, sandwiches, soups, beverages and hearty, European-style fresh baked breads. Try their falafel platter or panini. Both were delicious and accompanied by flavorful spreads. Almuerzos are also offered ($4) and included soup, main course, beverage and dessert. Speaking of dessert, they also bake their own brownies, pies and cookies - again, like youâd find in a European bakery. Service was friendly and the atmosphere rustic-cozy.

Very good espresso after lunch, and very good cafe + extra ;) after dinner. It's at the back of the foodcourt, so you have a couple of very nice options to eat, and have your coffee here. Service is super friendly, price is very reasonable, I absolutely recommend! :)

My husband is very particular about steak, and his filet mignon was perfection. Since it was his birthday, not only did they play a really nice arrangemnt of Happy Birthday, they brought him a gorgeous piece of cake (with a trick candle) and Feliz Cumpleaños written in chocolate! I also received a delicious (free) dessert. The view overlooking the city is awesome, and there were two large parties taking place in adjacent rooms. Everybody was enjoying this great restaurant.

Don't expect to find your Ecuadorian favorite platos tipicos or an Lojano specialties here. They do serve delicious Italian inspired dishes. Save room for dessert and top it all off with a specialty tea or local coffee. You may need to make reservations as this restaurant is popular.

I have been there a few times with friends. Itâs a cozy place to hang out and sometimes catch music. They have good bottled craft beers and the food is light but delicious.

This cozy cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, the latter around a secluded garden. Staff are hospitable. Marco will show you how to really enjoy different types of Lojana coffee. I appreciated that and a pizza empanada: a nice break from touring the town. I'll make time to return. Recommended.Thank you, you are welcome.

This place is wonderful. From the balcony you can see SanSabastion square. The food is great. They serve good lunches for 3.00 soup, main entre and desert with drink. You have a choice of main meal. I can't believe this place has not been reviewed yet. If you are in Loja make sure you eat here. Great service and ambience.It was a pleasure. Thank you for your review,it`s important for us.

This is the place to go for a great meal, wonderful company with a very relaxed atmosphere. We have been frequenting Gringo's now for a couple of months. We enjoy the variety of dishes, always superb. A very fine selection of beers on tap brewed by the owner. Always quite hospitable and fun to be at. Highly recommend you dropping by while in Loja.Hi. This is an excellent restaurant to deal with. If someone has advised you to go. Take it as a good suggestion. Great location, atmosphere, clean, highly friendly staff and excellent food. Too bad I did not have time to visit it once again. I would like to do the whole menu.
