Excellent value
Reviewed By Cotaman$70/ night for two bed, two bath 300 ft from the beach. No view but internal pool and restaurant great ambience. Rooms clean and comfortable. Service excellent and "muy amable". Food very tasty and medium priced.

Reviewed By 173erivOne of the hotels that I liked the most was this one. Makana Resort, I liked very much the attention of its workers. So, there are many activities to do at the hotel, such as: going to the gym, playing pin pon, walking on the beach, going to dinner, swimming in the pool and playing volleyball. All the facilities have private security and some rooms have their own washer and dryer, which is great for me. It also has a private beach and its facilities are luxurious. I loved the weddings that take place there, it is beautiful and I would like to get married in this place. I highly recommend it.

Reviewed By Boyd_13Was visiting this hotel for business reasons. The hotel is almost new, wel designed and clean. I had the opportunity to check out the basic but fully equipped rooms as well. Some have their private balconies. Lunch and dinner was good as well as the level of service received from the staff.

Nice family vacation
Reviewed By joselyng448Hotel Salduba is located 700 meters away from Iglesia Catolica Espiritu Santo, and provides 24-hour reception, shuttle service and 24-hour security. The hotel has 21 rooms.The property is located 1 km from the center of Tonsupa and 25 km from Coronel Carlos Concha Torres Airport. It is a good hotel, clean rooms and comfortable beds, excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the area, with a clean pool and excellent service, the hotel is a few steps from the beach. Hotel Salduba offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi in Tonsupa. Facilities include a garden, shared lounge and bar. The rooms also have cable TV, and all rooms have a private bathroom. Some also include a kitchenette. The 24-hour reception staff speak English and Spanish. It is a very quiet and pleasant place, just one block from the entrance to the beach. A landmark you go to the beach through the Almendro beach pizzeria. The Hotel has very friendly owners and is an excellent place to vacation. A charming hotel, cozy, familiar, we feel at home, everything is very clean and neat, the very personalized attention from the owner, we really enjoyed the pool also the parking lot is spacious and safe, the room is spacious, the bathroom with enough water, very good general cleaning, quiet, with air conditioning. I recommend the place for family or couples vacations, they also allow pets.

The Rio Suites has an outdoor pool and a restaurant and is in TONSUPA , just 10 minutes walk from the beach in Diamond Beach. There is free WiFi connection area. Comfortable rooms some have air conditioning (check availability) , balcony and private bathroom with shower and free toiletries . There is a fan . The property Rio Suites features garden, terrace , bar, nightclub, shared lounge and tour desk . Free parking is provided . Carlos Concha Torres The international airport is 30 minutes away by car.

Hidden gem in Tonsupa!
Reviewed By Mud HWe LOVE this hotel! My husband and I are hotel owners ourselves in Mompiche and this little gem of a hotel is our favorite night getaway spot! The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms, pool, and grounds are immaculate, and the price is right! The on-site parking is secure and convenient and the hotel is nicely situated... tucked away from the noise of the beach hotels and restaurants but a close and easy walk to get to them. We can´t recommend this hotel enough!

A bit of a disappointment
Reviewed By Jan Btheir website: hoteltonsupaecuador.com\ is extremely misleading. The photos shown must have been taken when the place first opened - years ago! The owners were very friendly, made us a great dinner (not close to restaurants) and picked us up at the airport ($15.) The pools were all cloudy and dirty, the fountain shown on website no longer runs, the thatched cabana on the beach no longer has a roof - need I go on? Everything is locked down tight (bars on all windows and doors. If you want to go out, you need to find them to open it. The room was comfortable with a king size bed, TV, and A/C. They have WIFI but not in your room, out in courtyard or in restaurant. We survived, but sad that their website is so misleading and it's definitely not worth $30. each.

Poor customer service
Reviewed By Manuel TThe installations are good but the service it’s the worst ever...!!! 0 out of 10 of customer service... they close the door with padlock and they didn’t open so I had to walk at 12 am around Tonsupa and find another hotel... the owner just give very poor excuses, so I recommend never book this place...

El hotel consta de piscina, área de duchas y sobre todo una excelente ubicación, las habitaciones confortables y cómodas, el pueblo de tonsupa tiene buenos sitios para comer y una vida nocturna activa a la orilla de la playa!
