Classic old time pizza place. Great beer selection. Tons of top shelf IPAs. Pizza is good. Try garlic bread with pesto on top with a beer!! Delicious and not too filling. More room for beer. Band plays Thursday thru Sat. Old time Blue Grass. Makes it seem like your on the East coast in the mountains. Very different from any place in a thousand miles. Out door seating. Lots of games for youngsters. It's like a Vegas casino. Be careful.

We went to the Smoking Pit BBQ to celebrate my husband's birthday. He loves BBQ and we are always looking for a good place. We were seated promptly, but near a boys baseball team. The parents were not paying any attention to the boys and they were running around and some were screaming. I was so glad to see them leave. I felt the management should have said something to them.Service was very casual - perhaps a little too casual. The food came out quickly but first, another server brought food to us that we did not order. We ended up having to flag down another server to have the food removed from our table. We ordered the Wolf Turds, Burnt Ends and a 2 meat plate with 2 sides. The appetizers (Wolf Turds and Burnt Ends were recommended on another site). These may have been the best part of the meal. The Wolf Turds are jalapeno peppers stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon and smoked - what's not to love? The Juicy Burnt Ends are glazed with a sweet sauce and are slightly crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. Fantastic flavor! For the meat combo, we ordered the brisket (1/2 lean, 1/2 fatty) and ribs. My husband really enjoyed the home made sauces, but we had to help ourselves to them from another table. The server never offered them - rather odd. The fatty brisket is the best and the ribs were quite good. The misses were definitely the sides - cornbread was meh - macaroni and cheese sounded good on the menu, but it was very rich - a little went a long way. I also prefer mine with more crunch. The coleslaw was practically tasteless - a real disappointment for hubby who really likes coleslaw. KFC coleslaw is better than this.Dessert was better. We ordered the peach cobbler (warmed) with vanilla ice cream. The cobbler was pretty good but could have used more sugar - mine is better. But the server brought out a complimentary piece of Peanut Butter pie. Now that is really good - whipped cream, light peanut butter filling with an oreo cookie pie crust. We would definitely order that on another visit! We were there early evening on a Saturday night and noticed they have live music at this location starting at 9 pm.We would probably come back again or try the San Jose locations, but we would definitely try different sides.

Located in the interesting enclave of Niles (home of Charlie Chaplin lore and antique stores) this resembles a classic corner bar but they feature a nice variety of deli specialties (grinders, sandwiches and wraps) along with a very solid assortment of craft beers. The waitress and bartender during this weekday lunch hour were both very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches were generously proportioned. Many classic Italian favorites along with some unique choices. It's a fairly large barroom with a fair number of tables and a medium sized bar. Three of us all enjoyed our sandwiches and the beers were also in good order. A great informal lunch choice and bar for the beer connoisseur. Prices were medium range but fair for the quality. Plenty of free public parking right across the street. I would gladly return.

We enjoy getting a bucket for take out. You can also order an additional 1 lbs shrimp or crawfish or whatever you like. We love the Luxabu sometimes spicy or just medium. Great atmosphere inside!
