This was a great change of pace for us. We wanted to try something different and we were not disappointed. I really liked all the food especially their tzatziki sauce, baba ghanoush, (which is an egg plant dip) and the dressing they used on their Greek salad. So delicious. . . . I want to go back and try more! Excellent service as well!

Dropped in tonight for the first time and didn't know what to expect. What we got was friendly service, great food, and an overall satisfying experience. It was clear we were first timers and our server explained the menu board to us, and asked us our preferences before making recommendations. I had the lamb kebabs and my husband had the Lebanese chicken (which came on a skewer that looked like a small sword!). Both dishes were well seasoned, tender, and fresh. My portion was so large that I think I can make two more meals out of it! The owner came out and told us that all of their ingredients are locally sourced and the food freshly prepared from scratch. He likes to support local markets and tries to be ecofriendly, as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is not a fancy or impressive place. There is no linen on the table. But it's some of the best Mediterranean food in this area. The small scale of this business allows the warm friendly service as you stand at the counter to order. When they bring it to your table it's always with a smile. I usually get the Gyro Dinner (#1) but I've had the lamb dinner also and the chicken shawarma. All dinners come with a nice salad. I eat here often and have always been happy.

Had driven past here many times going through Kent and finally decided to stop and try it - so glad I did! Excellent food from the Middle East. Very friendly and helpful staff at the family-run restaurant. The chicken and lamb were superb! Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Skip the burger routine for lunch and try something really unique and good at Ishtar...
