You usually know what you're getting when you eat at a chain restaurant. The food is usually pretty similar wherever you go. The service is what would set it apart. We had very poor service for what we are used to going to Chili's. They have left our home state so we were excited to have stayed right next door to this restaurant. Some of the food was brought out cold and some very hot. They seemed to have cooked things with poor timing and brought it all out at once. I had asked for something 3 times before it finally was delivered. It came across like we were interrupting our servers life. Just overall unfriendly. Maybe it was just a bad night. Our food that was brought out hot was great. Not what I expect from a Chili's.

Came in for lunch and the service was fantastic! Their sauces for the chips are just to die for. I ordered the taco plate and everything was really tasty and loved everything. The food tasted good, nice portions of food and service was really good. This isn't really a complaint, but I kind of hoped it's not a sit-down and order type of restaurant. It would have worked much better if it was a fast-casual restaurant. The service is great, don't get me wrong, but I could see it getting really slow come peak lunch and dinner times. I came around 4pm so there were only 2 tables so the wait wasn't bad. But do I really want to wait to be seated, wait to order, wait for the food to come out when all you really want is 2 tacos and a soda? Other than that, everything is great and I will definitely be back if I plan on doing a full dine-in experience with the family. For grab and go lunches, fast food places might be the better alternative. This would've been much better if it could move down the line faster.

First, the name has changed to Nela's. She's Eva's daughter. We ordered from the dinner menu. My selection was the Carnitas platter, a special at 13.95. I could have fed another two people, and it was all average-good. Before the entree, we received small salads, all chopped iceberg lettuce with several tablespoons of dressing on top. And, of course, the obligatory chips and salsa. Nela's serves both a Pico de Gallo and a somewhat hot red salsa in a squeeze bottle. My partner chose a two-entree combo and also received a bountiful plate of fairly ordinary American mex. 15 minutes later, we were boxing up our dinners -- we ate half or less. Guess we've got lunch tomorrow.Nothing stood out as excellent but the quantity. The service was very good and friendly. At 6:30 on a Friday nite, the place was about 2/3rds full, so it's popular if not particularly above average. Two miles away is Carmelitas, and we'll go there next time.Final note: my wife loves Tortilla soup but found only chicken soup on the menu.

Our family is pretty picky on Mexican food restaurants, but we really enjoy Cafe Delicias even my mom. We've tried several different dishes and drinks. The food is always served nice and hot in large portions, staff is always prompt & friendly. Easy parking and great location.

First time here. Delicious. Place was pretty packed for lunch. Ordered the special of the day, Super Burrito. A giant burrito filled with rice, beans, guacamole, veggies, and your choice of chicken/steak/pork. I got steak. Very very good and filling. Food came out fast. They have a nice chips and salsa bar with all different kinds of salsas. Outside seating available. Coworker ordered a breakfast burrito which is served all day and another ordered some sort of shrimp meal that came with tortillas and rice/beans. He said it was the best sauce heâs ever had, it was spicy. Iâll be back for lunch.

So I am making rounds visiting friends. I have not been here before and did not know what to expect. They were absolutely busy. They said they do not accept reservations. We were a large group and they were able to sit us right away. We ordered several different options from the menu and everyone was happy. They gave a very generous portion of chips and salsa and we requested for more and they kept giving. Chips were light and not greasy and food was good. But the price was on the high end.

Recently had lunch here with a friend and the restaurant was packed early. Food is ordered at the counter and arrived at our table quickly. Delicious and very filling! Great salsa bar - from mild to hot, hot, hot! Many items to choose from and reasonably priced. Will return!

Sunday evening the restaurant is fairly quiet and the cheerful waitress showed us to a Table/Booth - Soon had chips and salsa sauce for dipping. Made our order, got some drinks. The main course ordered was very nice, there was a lot of it, thank goodness did not have a starter and there was no way I could do dessert. The restaurant itself was styled as a Mexican cantina, there was a tablet on the table for ordering but it was not used as it seems the waiters undertake the ordering. Overall the food was nice, the price very good.

I googled Mexican food near me. Iâm not from Roseville so I had no idea where to go. This came up as 4 1/2 stars. We were delighted to see itâs authenticity. Itâs a little pricy but well worth it. The beans tasted so creamy and fluffy. Everything we had was exceptional! The greens were crispy fresh. The portions were generous. Even the margaritaâs were the best weâve had from a restraunt! Iâm looking forward to returning for a date night with my husband!!

Do not go there and expect traditional Mexican food. The menu did have burritos and tacos on it, but fresh and tasty combinations. They have green rice made with cilantro that is very fresh tasting. The chips come with mole and salsa that were both really good. We sat outside on the patio. Our waitress was really knowledgable about the menu and helped us make some great choices. There were black beans, not refried. Everything tasted very healthy and good for you.
