Lugar muy bueno para tomar un pintxo, aperitivo, comida, cena o simplemente una copa. Muy agradable y personal muy correcto. De lo más recomendable de Ermua. Aunque no está muy visible , situado en un callejón sin salida de vehÃculos, si eres de fuera de la localidad, basta con preguntar y se localiza en 2 minutos

Perched on top of a mountain in the heart of Bizkaia, clients include by kings and presidents, as security is easy, the helipad gives a clue to the type of clients you may rub shoulders with. The food is unsurpassed Basque cuisine, which is expensive but at the same time surprisingly good value. You really can't go wrong, what ever you chose. The wine list is exceptional. The dining room itself is a converted barn, the entire complex is a classic Basque farm house. It is reputed to be haunted by the witch of Amboto. This is an absolute must visit for anyone who really wants to enjoy the best the Basque Country has to offer. A helicopter is not required, even if you arrive on foot, you will be treated like royalty, if for no other reason than the road to restaurant is so steep you will literally have to crawl up. Once again, an enjoyable experience. I love restaurants with lots of natural light coming in and Aboiz its got it. Big windows with a warm decoration in well preserved ancient traditional house with character in iconic basque location.The food is great and service impecable at a reasonable price.I just had to make a comment about this place in which all my large family had a great time today.I would totally recommend it.( Tip...There are 2 bars close to the restaurant in which you can have a glass of wine before your lunch or dinner.)

I had a great meal here. I had the set menu, which was extremely good, and came with both white and red wine - a bottle of each! I am sure that for a table of 4 or even 2 that would have been great, but for a solo diner it was quite heavy going. I did my best! But seriously, the food was extremely good, and great value, and I recommend it

General speaking to eat very good in vasconian country is quite easy. Secret is the Quality of row material, meet, fish or vegetables.... In that restaurant you can mixture good materials, good service and nice enviroment. Good election. Price is relatibily cheap if you consider the level of kichen. Same restaurant in Madrid you pay more tahn double.

Was there for a business lunch. Located high in the hill. Magnificant view on the valley and closed montains. Welcome on the terrasse with the local beer. Inside very nice decoration. It looks like an old renovated farm, Good collection of wines. all Spanish ones seem to be there. Very good lunch menu with a big choice, except for vegetarians :) Perhaps this suggestion to the owner to get at least one veg choice?I heard that they also have rooms for lodging.

This is certainly one of the best restaurants that I have ever been. The environment, interior design, the house itself, service quality and meals are absolutely first class. We went to visit this restaurant all the way from San Sebastián (90 mins drive) but believe me it is worth it from every aspect and recommending it to everyone.There is no point to describe each recipe because all them are so tasteful. All you need to do is to go and try it. I hope you also get the opportunity to experience the owners sense of humor and local dresses of waitress's.

I have tried this restaurant lunch menu, it is quite good and it is a good value for money, I can recommend it. The service it is fast and efficient. It seems to be a nice local restaurant.
