we had 4 places at the bar, where you can watch the chef preparing all dishes. Purpose is sharing dishes: we had 8 dishes and were very pleased with all of them: original presentation, matching flavous, ... We espacially appreciated the pigeon, the horsemeat, the minced meat with cheese and the grilled vegetables. Very friendly owners.Nice affordable winelist.

Very Authentic Japanese Cuisine made by award winning head chef. Visited last week with family, and was offered variety of different tasty dishes including hand-made sushi, sashimi, tempura, eel etc. Top quality dinning environment and service. As being a native Japanese, I just felt like back home. Recommend for everyone.

We felt like something quick and light so ended up here at Koki around 9.00pm on a Wednesday evening. Sat up at the bar area (train) and had a few plates. Not a great deal of variety heading around at that time but what we had was nice. Busy and people friendly. Would return.

This place is known for an extensive local wine selection, yet the basics of wine service are completely unknown (or carelessly disregarded.) We were served a literally warm bottle of 1er cru Rully. She brought an ice bucket full of cool water, no ice. There was no way this would cool the bottle ever, let alone before this meal was to start, or end. Then, after I asked for ice for the bucket, she started pouring the warm wine (yes, warm) into my other half's glass! Are we to now to float ice cubes in our wine? I asked someone else to please get some ice for our bucket and she did. Any service request (like more water to combat the salty dishes took 3 asks.)The food was creative, seasonal, fresh, and delicious except for the heavy use of either salt or salty ingredients. Unfortunately, the irritating poor service overshadowed. At one point our waitress saw a huge puddle of water from the ice bucket spilling off the table and onto my lap. She didnât acknowledge it, or otherwise get a towel or napkin to help me mop it up. If you absolutely must have some non Burgundian cuisine while here, go, but be aware.
