Visited Morina's last night with family who lives in Dexter. I was surprised to find such amazing Italian food in a smaller mid-west town. I spent every summer on Long Island so I am pretty picky about Italian. My son who always picks at his food ate almost a whole small pizza by himself, our uncle had lobster ravioli that he loved, my husband had the chicken marsala, and my daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs. My mother in law had a huge and beautiful salad. Lastly, I had the eggplant which was traditionally prepared and was fresh and delicious! We also had the garlic rolls and dipping oil as an appetizer and the delicious tiramisu for dessert. Atmosphere is casual but clean and nice. Service was great. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Dexter!

We visited the new location on Market Street. Our waitress informed us she was new, so that could be taken into consideration, except that she was unapologetic for her lack of menu knowledge and was outright neglectful in her service. There appeared to be no supervision of the inexperienced waitress. We waited 5+ minutes for our drink orders to be taken, although there were only two other tables occupied and she was not assisting them during this time. We were misadvised of buffet prices by $2, and the quoted prices were not honored at checkout (although I pointed this out and she acknowledged she had been wrong). Had the correct price been quoted, we would have ordered a fresh pizza of our choice. There were only four pizzas on the buffet; of which only one was replaced (and at our request) during our visit from 6PM -7PM. We had to call her over on two occasions for drink refills. She never offered a refill until we were finished with our meal. Pizza was unimpressive; two of the four were dried out from being out so long. Buffet at the former location was worth $7, but not this one (no dessert pizza, no pasta). Menu selection is much more limited. Most bothersome was the lack of management, as the waitress needed guidance. Even though Dexter's dining options are few, I find no reason to return any time soon.
