Reviewed By Debbie SLiterally the worst $95 we've ever spent. Extremely unfriendly. No coffee machine in the rooms - not even cups to drink water or for brushing teeth. No breakfast facility. The bed sheets are too small for the beds. Just three lumpy pillows. The TV did not work. Our room was upstairs but very far from the car park and we are pretty sure fire regulations are wrong as there is just one tiny exit/entrance. All together a bad experience and we will definitely not stay at a Travelodge again. For info this is our first bad review ever and we are world travellers coming from East Africa.

Reviewed By G3236WJkathyrAt check-in, the person working the desk checked us in rather slowly. She mixed up the two rooms we had reserved. She asked one person in our party if she was with us because they were of a different race. Once we left the office and entered a side entry to go to our rooms we found that the doors were unlocked so anyone could enter. There were several couches in the entryway which were very worn and dirty even with covers on them. We stayed on the second floor and everything looked dirty and was covered with dust. There was no air conditioning turned on and the hallways and rooms were very hot. The air vents in the room were covered with a thick layer of dust. The air conditioner smelled of mold when it was turned on. We didn't eat any of the free breakfast because of the cleanliness issues. There are train tracks less than a half-mile away and have to blare horns at intersections close to his place.

Reviewed By Sherrie ZWhere to start. The owner was very nice. Trouble with card lock so he walked to room to help. First off, the heat was not turned on so the room took forever to heat up. Even after we had been in bed shivering for a couple hours. Toilet had not been cleaned inn a while. A ring of mold/mildew at water level. Turned back bed sheets and the sheets were clean but an old stain was on them so probably should not have even been used. 2 bath towels provided and one had a stain on it so we couldn't use it. Dirty carpets. But with all that being said we hadn't planned on complaining. Just gonna chalk it up to taking a chance on roadside motel when tired from driving. What changed it was the next morning we made coffee in our own coffee maker that we brought with us. I didn't drink it all and we ran across the street to Walmart. I planned on warming it up when we got back to the room. A roach was in my coffee! We then decided to complain. Owner was nice and we decided on a $20 refund to compensate. Because in our opinion it was a $40 room. It actually looks like management is trying with this motel but lots of improvements should be made. It will become one of those that locals stay at by the week. And when that is the case it will become harder and harder to rent to people passing thru while traveling.
