We love the Dushanbe Teahouse. If you are sitting inside, you'll feel transported to a serene place far, far away. You must, of course, learn about its origin and creation to fully appreciate the experience. I was on the fence about giving it a "4" versus "5", but it's such an incredible place, I have to go with the overall experience. Sometimes the menu feels a bit limiting for those with palates that aren't as adventurous or flexible, but I think there's still something for everyone here--even if it's just to have a cup of tea and a scone!

We happened to walk in one night and what a great find. I highly recommend it if you’re in Boulder. I ordered the special that night: Hawaiian Red Snapper with Summer Succotash. The chef really knows how to prepare fish. It was the perfect degree of doneness. The Summer Succotash, lemon herb sauce and avocado mousse were perfect compliments. The peach tart for dessert was absolutely the best I have ever had, anywhere. This restaurant is a real gem and should not be missed.

Staying in downtown Boulder and both were hungry so we walked a couple blocks to the Lazy Dog. Had a couple of mountain lagers which is an excellent local beer. Wife had a mushroom burger and I had a blackened chicken sandwich. Service was spot on and will definitely be back.

Came here for a wedding. Nice and green outdoor space, pretty building. Inside accommodates around 150 guests, also a patio for receptions. Overall food was average, we had short ribs which were quite good, the trout was so so, the accompanying veggie kind of soggy. Dessert - little cups of whipped cream and caramel custard were quite delicious, ordinary cookies. The wedding cake looked beautiful with fresh flower decor but was inedible, chocolate cake so hard and dry and the sugar icing sickeningly sweet. The appetizers served at the pre-dinner cocktail were actually better than everything that followed: the small cones of guacamole particularly delicious. Service was disorganized. Half the guests finished their dinner while the other half still waiting for their entrees. The venue seems popular with weddings but the food is not memorable.
