This place will exceed your expectations for Indian food. The menu is interesting, with plenty of options for the foodie that likes to try new things or a different twist on a traditional dish (traditional also available). The food is flavourful, spicy (in the best way). Nice atmosphere -- the location is just great (on the water front in White Rock). This would be a great spot for a funky first date or for a meal out with a bunch of friends.

Another Croupon voucher brought us back to the Punje for lunch. Our male server was very attentive and was most helpful with suggestions in terms of the menu items that were applicable. The fish pakora was not as nice as I remembered but otherwise our lunch was very enjoyable.

If you like Indian food, this place is a great place to get it. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't anything to brag about -- it's pretty plain and dated. However, I love to get take-out from here and eat it on the beach or at home. Very pleasant staff.

Was not even aware there was a restaurant there. Invited to a birthday celebration and was delighted with the food, service and atmosphere. It is so refreshing to go to a restaurant where loud music is not playing. Beautiful view, delicious food and very pleasant staff. We will be back.

Being thanksgiving we were limited to the number of restaurants we could go to and we were not disappointed.This restaurant has fantastic views over White Rock but not only that we had a fantastic meal.We all ordered a mixture of meals from the menu ranging from starters to main meals and deserts.The service was quick and efficient. The meals chosen ranged from chicken saag, chilli chicken and butter chicken with rice and naan bread. Other members chose onion bhajis, and other starters. The rice was light and fluffy and slightly different to the what we normally have. The meats were beautiful and tender with great flavour of spices and sauce. This was complimented by the various naan bread chosen, including cheese, garlic and plain.The meals were a great size to feel sated and were reasonably priced.Overall highly recommended.

As a group of 10 we got a table no problem, service was awesome always there to help. The food was not the standard Indian It was a mix of everything from paneer to goat all great food. We even had a visit from Vikram himself great owner checked on every table and visited. Great atmosphere
