Sehr nette Inhaber, tolles Essen, sehr schöne Lage. Auf Wunsch wird hier auch ein Shuttleservice angeboten, ansonsten erreicht man das Restaurant auch über den Baudenstieg, was etwas körperlich anstrengend ist, aber was einem da oben erwartet lohnt sich!

Only had a cup of coffe at this establishment, but this was excellent and very reasonable. The main reason for visiting the Berggaststätte was for the view across the valey. Fantastic

Petermanns Cafe and Restaurant is located in Bad Lauterberg, a short walk uphill the Kirchberg from the Kurpark. The restaurant is not easy to find. Petermanns is a modest somewhat outmoded seventies ambiance.We came on a weekday evening and the establishment was totally empty, not a good sign. With good reviews we decided Petermanns a try. What a deception. The food was mediocre. The Dauerbrenner was so-so. The Fitnessteller appeared uneatable. Service is adequate.We canât understand the positive review. Petermanns is a never-again-show.

Die Waldgaststätte Grosser Knollen befindet sich auf der höchsten Erhebung im Südharz, auf dem ehemaligen gleichnamigen Vulkan. Von Sieber aus erreicht man die Knollen Baude mit ihrem 20 m hohen und über 100 Jahre alten Aussichtsturm über den Rundweg 4 und sie liegt entlang des Harzer BaudenSteigs an der Etappe 3. Egal ob zu Fuss oder mit dem Mountainbike, der Aufstieg lohnt sich zu jeder Jahreszeit. Oben angekommen erwarten einen leckere Brotzeiten und eine grosse Auswahl an Getränken. Vom angrenzenden Turm aus hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht über den Südharz. Die Baude ist von Dienstag bis Sonntag von 11:00 bis 17:00 Uhr geöffnet, an Feiertagen auch montags.

Nach einem wunderbaren Wandertag hatten wir keine Lust zu kochen und haben uns für dieses Hotel/Restaurant entschieden.Der Empfang durch die Wirtin Petra war sehr Herzlich. Die Bestellung wurde rasch aufgenommen. Obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, wurden alle schnell und Professionell bedient. Das Essen war wie erwartet gut, reichlich und Bodenständig. Ich kann dieses Lokal für Menschen die es Einfach mögen nur Empfehlen. Für Menschen mit gehobenen Ansprüchen ist das wohl eher nichts. Es gibt Schnitzel, Spargel, Steaks, Wildgerichte je nach Saison wechselnd.

The Harzklause has very delicious meals out of the region, also different variants of CurryWurst, which are great! The common feeling here is like holiday, you forget the stress of the day and can enjoy just being here, a cold drink, a perfect meal, a great and warm service, what more do you need? :-)

Wonderful Bar and Restaurant, within the Village of Sieber with Harz.Friendly and welcoming, with very good fresh local food.Charming interior that fits welcome with the region and excellent outside beer garden, with a lovely view.It also has some Ferienwohnung - which are holiday apartments which are also available to book

Simply very good everything from mid -day lunch, evening dinner and breakfast, no bad experience. In summer one can eat in the lovely courtyard but I recommend the restaurant also, beautifully decorated with a strong regional accent.
