We had been advised by the hotel receptionist that this was a good place for Greek food.Be warned, these people speak Greek and German. English is not their forte.But... service was friendly.And the food was great. We ordered several starters to share and the mixed platter was really good. We also had Tzaziki, garlic bread and the fries that are not fries (they were really good!).The one downside was that our mains arrived waaaaay too quickly.But... the lamb chops were great, so what the mixed platter (gyros, spicy pork sausage,...) and the accompanying rice-tomatoes and potato-tomatoes.I was full by then, but the home made ice cream we'd spotted on our way in had to be tried too.The pecan/pistachio I had were lovely.If/when I am in Hannover/Laatzen again, I will definitely consider returning here. Hopefully then there will be 4 of us to try the all you can eat. (Not that I eat huge amounts, but I'd like to try more different things...)

Das Restaurant El Greco bietet im Sommer eine schöne Terrasse mit einem Sommerzelt als Regenschutz. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Aber mit den Speisen waren wir gar nicht zufrieden. Das Metaxa-Gyros war sehr fett. Und meine Hackfleischröllchen hatten eine auffällig helle Farbe, geschmacklich nicht besonders. Auf der Karte nur griechische Weine, bis auf einen nicht näher definierten "RieÃling".

One of the more interesting places to dine in Hannover! The interior is pretty cool, service is prompt (although the waiter doesn't speak any English), and the randomness of the location (in an industrial estate) adds to its cool factor.The menu though is German only, which would be a problem . If you're a meat eater, just go for a gyros platter (mixed grilled meat) or a snitznel (breaded pork). Neither was the best, like ast food quality and slightly salty. Prices (10 euros for mains) are rather reasonable, as you get huge portions, including a whole bowl of salad Asia a starter included with the mains order. Locationwise, only really practical if you have a car. It's about 20 minutes walk in a deserted industrial estate at night to the station.

For my opinion it's best restaurant in Hanover, it's family management You can eat fresh fish very good service and atmosphere We got very good olive oil whit fresh spaishel bread Nice fetta chess and" maze" for frist course And main bakala fish and chipora fish whit free salat and potato The dish was design very nice and Services is excellent For desert we order baklawa whit ice cream If you visit in Hanover u must to visit in this restaurant I will apselotly will back there.!!!!

We have been to Bacchus 1 several times over the past few years. Each visit has been a great experience. The menu is huge, so there is something for everyone. All the dishes we have had were excellent. I wish I had asked for the name of the ouzo that was poured before and after our meal. It was the best we've ever tasted. Service is very attentive. Seating is available inside and outside. Bacchus 1 is understandably very popular, so reservations are recommended.

We decided to try something different from German beer house and steaks, and found this restaurant with good reviews. It turns out to be actually quite good. The entrance is already unique with the blue bottle displays next to the bar. The menu has a good selection of salad, meats, and desserts. The main course comes with a free choice of salad bar. We had the platters for two which had the lamb chops, beef slices, beef patty, skewers of chicken and pork chops. The wine selection is also good. The highlight was the live music. Just a note that the male toilet was almost like a disco with the lights and music. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience and a hidden gem in Hannover.
