We had dinner here on the evening of our arrival in Neustrelitz. The signs of the restaurant call it âDue Fratelliâ but it is listed as âLa Fontanaâ on Tripadvisor (same address), which is rather odd. Maybe the place changed owners? As the waiter spoke Italian, I ordered a pizza margherita with a green side salad and a small beer in that language. My companion ordered a pizza Popeye (spinach and gorgonzola) and half a litre of beer. We were both brought half a litre of beer in a glass mug with a handle, mine with the mention âuna piccolo birraâ (a small beer). When my pizza arrived, it was not a margherita. The waiter apologized, saying he had brought me a âmixed pizzaâ by mistake because I had ordered a âmixed saladâ. My pizza arrived when my friend had already finished his. To keep him company I ate the salad I hadnât ordered. Apart from lettuce, it contained cucumber, tomato and the inevitable onion rings I put aside because I hate them. The pizzas were nice enough and very cheap. We were also offered a grappa on the house, so we didnât complain about the mix-up. We were probably just unlucky that day but we didnât return to find out.

Gemütlich-stylisch im Inneren, zT. windig drauÃen (ggf. Tisch an eine Abtrennung wählen) findet man das Chamäleon im unmittelbaren Anschluss an das Haus der Bildung und Kultur auf dem Hauptmarktplatz in Neubrandenburg. Die Speisenkarte ist recht übersichtlich, Salate, Pasta, Pizza, auch Fleischgerichte. Die Küche ist offen einzusehen. Alles ist sehr sauber. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir ein Vitello tonnato und bekamen einige Scheiben Bratenaufschnitt mit einer daneben angerichteten Sauce. Ok. Wir haben uns dann für Pizza entschieden, und ich muss leider sagen: Das war nicht überzeugend. Ein dicker, knuspriger Rand umgibt einen recht weichen Boden. Der Belag ist übersichtlich. Und der Preis für diese Pizza war nicht gerechtfertigt. Der Service war sehr freundlich!Sonntag ist Ruhetag.

This is a lovely place with excellent view to the flowering garden and the lake. The menu here is simple but the places that offer freshly made pesto are good. Flammkuchen (German style thin pizza) is also on the menu.

Nach langer Lokalabstinenz waren wir heute mal wieder bei Giovanni. Die Bedienung war nett, freundlich und schnell.Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Als Vorspeise hatten wir eine Knoblauchsuppe, die einfach nur Top war. Das Essen meiner Frau war optisch sehr ansprechend und auch sehr lecker wie sie meinte. Ich hatte Leber, die zwar geschmacklich Top war, jedoch war die Portionsgrösse nicht unbedingt mein Fall. Es war einfach etwas wenig. Ich habe das als Kritik im Restaurant angesprochen und das wurde auch dankend entgegengenommen. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

Schönes Ambiente, gutes Essen, kleine Speisekarte, aber trotzdem findet jeder etwas für sich. Im Sommer auch durch die AuÃenplätze im Schatten der Stadtmauer sehr angenehm, mit leckerem Eis und Kuchen.Ein klitzekleines Manko, da das Restaurant am Sonntag und Montag geschlossen hat, können wir es nur selten nutzen. Abendessen mit Familie oder Freunden- Vorbestellung unbedingt zu empfehlen!

It is cosy and the people are hard working , they will treat you well! I will go back there when I am back in Templin. The food is good , but not High end , the prices are great!
