Cela fait maintenant 6 ans que nous faisons une halte à Villers Cotterets pour déjeuner après la randonnée du souvenir de 14/18, le repas baisse au fil du temps comme si l'habitude prise par les responsables de l'établissement de nous voir chaque année faisait augmenter l'addition en inversement proportionnel au repas servi .... 28 ⬠pour une salade de camembert chaud, daube avec riz, caprice des dieux salades, clafoutis maison aux prunes et coings, café et vin en pichet Pyrex style cantine.Nous étions 24 à remplir le restaurant et les convives du cru étaient au nombre de 6 avec un menu traditionnel du restaurant.Je crois que pour la randonnée 2015 nous irons dans un autre village du 02 .... Pierrefonds sans doute.......

Les pizzas sont médiocres. J'ai pris une pizza avec un oeuf. Ils ont fait la pizza, et à la sortie de four, ont rajouté l'oeuf, cru, sur la pizza...!! Je leur ai fait part de mon étonnement, et du souhait d'avoir un oeuf cuit. Ils ont remis la même pizza de nouveau dans le four !!! L'oeuf était cuit, certes, mais la pizza trop cuite, forcément...

For me the Kiosk was recommended by a niece. After a 3 kilometre walk from my hotel to visit the cemetery at Pisseloux and a brief stop on the square, I went in for lunch. The only thing worse than my French is my hearing. The waiter and young lady in the shop were congenial and helpful with excellent service. The wine excellent an the 3 course lunch a value for the price. I just may go back tomorrow on the last day of my visit.

Not only is AMP open on Monday night when most of the Department is closed, it's also one of the best restaurants in an area of France where one isn't spoiled for choice. Everything, especially the starters, was excellent and even imaginative, prepared from fresh ingredients and cooked with skill. Great welcome and great value at around â¬30 a head.

This is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Villers-Cotterets. We ate here three times in our five evening stay. Every meal was carefully prepared and delicious. Salmon, steak, pizza, or risotto were equally delicious and at a price that kept bringing us back. Get there early or you will find a wait. Kudos to the young owners and particularly their excellent chef.
