Situated in the centre of Sene, this small creperie was delightful - very friendly and helpful staff, good choice of crepes, local drinks, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We stayed near Sulniac and ate here .. The restaurant is small with tables in and out and is run by a couple. The food was delicious, attention to detail was great and service very friendly. They had a lovely child's menu too, our kids 10 and 7 absolutely loved the 3 courses.... A total success amd worth a visit.

Excellent food in a small family restaurant. Ate there twice and each meal was fantastic, with excellent service. The courses were served promptly, but we were surprised that two delightful hours had passed before we were done. Innovative and imaginative twists of classic French food, beautifully presented, along with a nice choice of wines.

This is an unprepossessing pizzeria in an unprepossessing little french country town. If you come off the dual carriageway its almost the first thing you come to, set in a modern building of shops with apartments above.Inside its just like the photos, simple, modern, with formica tables and plastic chairs - but don't let that put you off!My experience is that the best pizzas I've had have been in the most simple and relatively downmarket little restaurants, and this is one of them.Very reasonably priced, good simple service, you can see your pizza being made, what's not to like.The pizza legumes we had were delicious, and on that typically thin and crispy base the french love. Lots of toppings nicely balanced, and at three with wine for â¬36 really good value

I am the owner of two restaurants in London UK.This Restaurant is Amazing, the quality of the ingredients used is great, the simplicityand professionalism in the execution of the dishes is fantastic, service is discreet and efficient. I had an oxtail starter which was very very good....and guess what ?I ate a simular starter in the Gavroche in London and I prefered the one from Le Puits des Saveur.....big time !I'll be back and back again....and I'll send my friends !

We called in for a meal having a looked at what I would call a reps or business hotel in the same grounds. The layout of the restaurant is fairly basic but comfortable. The staff extremely friendly nothing was too much trouble , it was obvious looking around that there were a lot of returning business customers who were staying in the hotel . No wonder the food was excellent and quite large portions so much so that we had to say no to the cheese course although it was included in the set menu. We will definately return

The aperitives were served warm ,the wine when it arrived was in a chilled carafe but as soon as it was poured in the glasses was room temperature and had obviously not been chilled. Food was not brilliant and the waitress came to take the plates before I was even half way through my meal ,just because my husband had finished I was supposed to have as well . When removing the bread basket it was automatically placed on another table. There are two excellent bakeries in short walking distance but the bread was longlife pre packed bread we have never had before in a French restaurant . Over all a terrible experience

A visit to Brittany is never complete without dining at Le Gorvello. Situated in a picturesque Breton village, within 15 minutes of Vannes, it has some of the most delightful eating imaginable, served without fuss and completed with smiles.We have eaten here several times over the years. The food is excellent quality, beautifully presented. I you don't like or want the particular combination on the creperie menu, just ask for your preferences and voila! They are more than willing to accommodate your request.We always feel very welcome at Le Gorvello, and although they usually see us no more than once a year, we feel as if we are weekly customers. Our waitress (regrettably I didn't ask her name, but she is planning a trip to Ireland this winter) was friendly, helpful and charming. She reminded me an Irish waitress we encountered in Mitchelstown at O'Callaghan's Deli. On arrival, we were offered an indoor table, but fortunately, an outdoor table was available so we took that option. By the way, book in advance if you're planning to dine here. It is always busy.Dinner for three people, including aperitifs, main course, drinks and desserts, came to just over â¬60, which we thought was very reasonable. We noted that, in comparison to many other places, aperitifs, soft drinks etc are not over priced here.Merci, Le Gorvello.

The An Iliz (Breton for church) is situated in the otherwise not spectacular village of Theix near Vannes. It was recommended to us by or host at the Maison d'hôtes de Calzac-Moulin (see separate recommendation!). It offers "only" galettes (pancakes made from blé noir (buckwheat flour), filled with whatever you can imagine (ham, cheese, eggs, goat cheese) and sweet crèpes of the highest quality. We have been told that people drive from as far as 20 kilometres to eat at the An Iliz, in a region that is literally plastered with Crèperies!We had a simple but delicious meal. Very friendly service!
