The owner of this restaurant, which doesn't look much from the outside, is a great chef! Fabulous raclette and pizzas. Great value burgers at lunch and, even though we were there for the last weekend of the season, and one of only a handful of tables, the atmosphere and friendliness of the owner and his mum (the waitress) was fantastic! In the words of Arnie "We'll be back!"

This restaurant has virtually a captive audience in summer if people do not understand that the cable car does not operate between about 12.45 and 2 p.m. However, they are very fussy about the separation between restaurant and coffee place, stopping people taking their plastic cups of luke warm coffee into the restaurant tables even if the weather outside is cold and windy. Because the people can't go anyway, the service is extremely slow both for getting a table, then receiving a menu, taking the order and the final delivery. Today the coffee machine had not warmed up and several people had coffee that tasted like a warm bath in terms of temperature.

Just popped in for coffee but found that the Kosy was warm and friendly. It is on a corner with windows on two sides so really does get the sun. Coffee was very good. Rustic decor was interesting. Meals sounded varied and appetising.

When visiting La Mongie, I highly suggest you pop in for lunch at L'Isard Restaurant! Food is mouthwatering especially, pizzas, burgers and most of all the desserts available! Food was served in a short time. The service was brilliant, and you dine with a spectacular view of white snowy mountains if visiting in winter days. As a restaurant, it is very family friendly, hence I highly suggest if visiting with young children as we did.

A great discovery on recent ski trip to La Mongie with family. Food was impeccable, very well priced and the warmth and kindness of the staff after the day on the snow was great. Ended up eating in same place for 4 of 6 days spent in La Mongie!

This is a fantastic bar with very friendly staff, good drinks and good food. We were only in the resort for 3 nights but this became the must visit each night. A special mention to the simply stunningly beautiful waitress with the black hair ponytail who made the evenings parfait! We'll definitely be back next year. Mines a coca zero!

Stumbled if one can skiing on this establishment.Very busy with great range of wood bbqed (if that is not a contradiction) food. The large rib steaks for two or three looked amazing and the prospect sadly not enough of us of preordering a wood grilled shoulder of lamb amazing.Ordinary steak excellent - the sheer numbers of people there were a great advert for its excellent food

Restaurant lovely. Came here with friends. Caution you might need to book sittings at 7 and 9. Food was ok i had lamb not amazing but ok. Friends had fondue which they enjoyed. Racquelette looked good too. Had lovely time and the kir cocktails nice.

Weâve just finished having a really nice dinner my husband, my Two kids and I. We ordered a meat fondue and a racklette ..delicious. Mateo who attended our table was not just pleasant but also very patient with our table selection , helpful and at all times with a big smile. I also as many others recommend the place. .. We will return!!
