We stopped in Hondarribia for the morning and decided to hop across to Hendaye on the navette. The beach was beautiful but very loud with a kids camp thing going on, so we headed back to the marina and this creperie. Great choice of galettes and crepes, or formules with other options if you don't want a crepe. Wider choice of soft drinks than in Spain and a great Kir Breton (or Basque if you really like their acidic and rough sort of cider). Nice staff and a great experience. 76 Euros all in for 2 courses, drinks and coffee for 4 hungry people.. Merci beaucoup. PS the navette is very busy between Hendaye and Hondarribia at lunchtime. Be prepared for a wait.

We had lunch here and sat outside, ordering the â¬10 plat du jour, thinking it would be fairly ordinary fare judging by the tiny kitchen behind the counter.Well as they say; don't judge a book by the cover, the lunch was more like what one expects from a 5 star restaurant! We both ordered fish and it came lightly grilled on a bed of rice with delightfully tasty sauce and garnished with fresh spring onions in a lemon sauce. We were amazed at the quality and spoke to the owner/chef who said he only uses the freshest ingredients and enjoys turning out culinary delights from his tiny kitchen.

We had an overall excellent opinion of this restaurant. Although they are closed during the week in Winter, we caught them open on a Sunday Afternoon and had enjoyed a great bottle of wine for only 16 Euros and outstanding Tapas.

First rate hotel and staff, would not hesitate to return. The owners could not do enough to make our fortnightly stay, more enjoyable and relaxing.

I feel a little brave challenging the many positive reviews but can only report on what we found on a mid-week holiday evening. That was a lovely restaurant with enthusiastic and friendly serving staff, but let down by disappointing food for the price. The monkfish carpaccio has no place on the menu at any price - watery and tasteless. Quite amazed to be served it frankly. The main courses were elegantly presented but with small portions and generally a triumph of style over flavour. The desserts were excellent and the wine list offers a fine variety of styles and prices. Sadly overall it was an expensive disappointment of an evening.

We came here 3 times in two weeks which speaks for itself. Everything is homemade including the incredible brioche buns. Try the sangria if it's available. The owner is super nice and obviously putting a big effort into the new business. Thanks to my top ten customers 2016

Sabine, thirty years old behind the furnaces, invites you to her table. It will allow you to taste a cuisine of pure French tradition but also some small creative follies of its own. You will discover every day of the week a new formula of lunch, a map pr
This restaurant is a must if you are in or around Hendaye.. what a joyous welcome we received and the lunchtime formule du midi of 17.90⬠easily met and exceeded our expectations...the fare was very fine cuisine indeed..I would recommend outside seating to watch the water sports from afar and then afterwards taking a walk to the nearby bird conservation area...one of our better meals so far in the 4 weeks in France

... actually got a nice one, but a bit on the hard side and definitely not at the level of others had in the area. Overall enjoyable dinner, big portions and a very nice athmosphere.

Clearly the best in town for fine dining at a value price. Husband and wife team work with small staff of one to produce a nice, comfortable environment in a small setting. This is not your average beach establishment which thrive in the vacation town. Set well away from the water in a part of the original city center, this couple is making a name for themselves. Dine here at least once during your beach visit. You will be gale you did.
