Pinellas Park is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 49,079 at the 2010 census. Originally home to northern transplants and vacationers, the hundred year old city has grown into the fourth largest city in Pinellas County, the most densely-populated county in Florida. The city and surrounding areas are almost completely urbanized. Pinellas Park contains a substantial portion of the "Gateway" area of the county, targeted for future infrastructure, residential, and commercial development as it sits roughly in the middle of the Tampa Bay area's over two million people. Though technically land-locked, its borders lie only a few miles from Tampa Bay to the east, and Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. The city is known for its popular equestrian facilities and events, and many residents also participate in fishing and water activities in nearby venues. This is a fun way to take a drive & grab a great tasting burger at a really reasonable price. The roller skating servers are always fast & efficient and eager to get you anything you'd like, for instance, extra napkins, extra condiments, etc. Been here several dozen times, Always the food is good, always the servers are good, the prices are always resonable too, and the wait is very short.

Spotted their unusual building just off the 19 when stuck at the lights on junction with Mainlands Blvd (it's behind the Shell garage) and made a mental note to drop by when next passing. This must be a new franchise as there's a "now open" sign outside and if you look at their website google map it's still an undeveloped lot.You can order via the drive thru or park up and sit outside. Order at one kiosk and collect at another. Never been to one of these outlets before so it was a bit of a novelty. Guess all their offerings are the same regardless of location. We found plenty of tasty looking options but decided on standard cones - dipped butterscotch/vanilla & strawberry. It was relaxing sitting on the patio area and it's obviously popular - especially with kids who all seemed to enjoy their treats! Service was quick and staff cheerful. We used to like stopping by Diary Queen but they seem to have gone downhill and so this chain will replace them as our ice cream "go to" place!

My wife and I grabbed dinner here on our way home from a night out. We had never been to a Firehouse Subs before and wanted to give one a try. The employees were very friendly and they were working their butts off to make sure they made everyone happy. The food was very good overall although the subs are prepared a little differently than some other sub places and we did not like our sandwiches quite as much as say those offered by Jersey Mikes. However, the food is very good overall and you will not go home hungry. We shared a large Italian sub and it was more than enough food for both of us as each half was huge.
