Reviews on European food in Toulouse, Occitanie, France. The southern France city of Toulouse is a study in contrasts. Visit the Academie des Jeux Floraux, the oldest literary society in the western world, as well as the Galerie du Chateau d'eau, the world's first photography museum. Stroll the Garonne, before visiting France's most beautiful pipe organ at the Saint-Sernin Basilica. Yet for all its medieval architecture, Toulouse is a modern city, home to the European aerospace industry, as well as bars and restaurants in bustling Place du Capitole.

It's pretty small, with only a handful of tables inside (more outside when weather permits it) but the food is good and the staff friendly. I had a decent soup, a tasty cassoulet, dessert and coffee for only â¬23.30 so it'a great value for money.I'd go again.

We stumbled upon Boca during a day exploring in Toulouse and couldn't be happier to have walked through the door. The service was friendly and welcoming, the music upbeat, the free board games a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon and most of all the food...a perfect lunch of small tapas sandwiches in every imaginable flavour. Try this place, you won't be disappointed!

We ate here with friends on one of our regular visits to Toulouse. We had reserved a month in advance which was wise as its only a small place and every table was taken. The menu had just changed and there are 5 or 6 choices for starters mains and desserts. We all four of us had something different and each of us were more than happy with our choices. For Toulouse portion sizes were of a decent size and wine prices not too pricey. We had no space for dessert but they looked delicious too.Overall an enjoyable meal in a pleasant ambience. Service was friendly and we weren't delayed even tho there was only one person waiting on. We would return after we've tried a few others. Thank you so much for your comment. Your right about the reservation because we're a little restaurant with 34 places and we're full all the saturday evening. We're happy you have enjoyed ours meals and hope you'll come back to try the desserts. Thank you again and see you soon at Perche Pinte restaurant.

This was a small restaurant in a relatively busy area of Toulouse. There was only one waiter who was busy running around serving food and taking orders. He was super friendly and spoke a bit of English. We ordered the slow cooked lamb and beef, which were divine. I had a lemon meringue dessert which was to die for. Highly recommended restaurant for great french food.

There's a very good reason why after nearly 3 years in business this local eatery is pretty well full all the time - lunch and dinner - They have the formula right! I've been reviewing Les Complices on and off for 2 years now, both lunch and dinner. Consistency across all metrics is the key. Let's start with the welcome- staff are warm and engaging from the beginning and throughout the service. Friendly, helpful and thoughtful, makes for a charming ambience, they even speak a little English though it's not necessary for us it will be helpful for non French speakers. The main game - The food- A daily changing lunch menu is always interesting and different from the standard traditional French fare, dinner menus are innovative and creative. The wine list perfectly adequate and reasonable priced with good choices for wines by the glass which staff will thoughtfully let you taste before selecting - a nice touch. We keep coming back and it's cemented it's pace as one of our favourites in Toulouse. As I've said before be sure to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Marci a toute l'equipe!Dear David, you are very welcome -, we're happy to make you happy !thank ou very much for your comment, we're glad to see taht our work is appreciated and very happy to be one of your favorite places in Toulouse. See you soon !

Our restaurant Les Sales Gosses (formerly La Cantine Des Sales Gosses) is a restaurant that links good creative food to an atmosphere that reminds its customers of their childhood.

An excellent choice!Thank you very much for your comment, we hope to see you some other day, maybe sooner than in three years ;D !

In a beautiful 19th century colonial style house, the Plazzotta family offers you an inventive cuisine, made from local fresh products. The restaurant Au Pois Gourmand welcomes you in an ideal location indoor, but also outdoors on a terrace along the Garo
Definitely a cut above the rest and priced accordingly - while not especially expensive at 28 euro for 3 courses, you get the amuse bouche to start and the food quality is really very good. There's and extensive wine list from all over the country and prices to suit most budgets as well as wines by the glass. Nice to have a choice of mineral waters too.The wine waiter especially effusive and helpful. It was a very busy day when we visited so staff had little time to linger but that's fine. The lunch menu was very good with 3 choices of entree and mains including a good slow cooked deer.

It started off badly, when we were left to out own with no wine or food for some time. We then very quickly chose our meal option, then asked the waiter for wine selections, he had no,idea, but did not refer us to the somelier. We could nit pick throughout, but whilst the food was amazing the service, was at best shambolic, plus never a smile. We got our cheese and almost finished it before we were offered bread,, we thought it was a French thing maybe to have no bread
