Hungry at (Spanish) lunchtime, we spotted some customers having a beer outside, across from the church in Taull. The ski season was over and the summer season two months away, so I wasn't sure the restaurant could serve us. Luckily they said they could and we had a great lunch, with a congenial chef who speaks Catalan, Castillian, French, Italian, Portuguese, and English. Grilled vegetables were great, as were lamb and sausages. Another reviewer mentioned unusual ice cream flavors like basil, thyme, balsamic vinegar. As I recall we each had three flavors and so got a selection of six - just great.Warm and friendly - even got driving tips on the best route to Barcelona.Highly recommended.

We went there 3 times during our 2 days in Taull (which already tells something) and it was very nice. This is mostly a beer pub, with several dozen varieties (bottled) and a limited choice on tap, plus an impressive selection of beer memorabilia everywhere. There's also a selection of other alco and non-alco beverages if beer is not your thing. The food is also very good - gastro pub style, hearty and solid dishes. Try the tomatoes with tuna and anchois (delicious), truffled eggs with minced veal and potatoes, or their "beeramisu" - tiramisu with Amaretto replaced with stout, mmm... Also, the music was great. And they have an enormous St. Bernard dog lounging in the bar!

I highly recommend this restaurant. During our holiday in the beautiful vall de boi four of us had dinner at El Ventador, we ordered different dishes and they were all delicious. The mix of traditional and local food and asian recipes made them very special, the presentation was excellent and also we could taste homemade beer from the area very nice, they have as well a good selection of local wines. The space is decorated with a very good taste and there was a nice selection of music, as well as a very friendly staff. We cannot complain about anything and we wish to come back!!

This restaurant bills itself as a Crêperie , but These are gourmet crêpes, both savory and dessert. The variations are extensive. We enjoyed the place so much we cam back the next night. The stone walls, original art, and overall design make this place truly charming. the staff was attentive, and the wine list fairly good.

There are many restaurants in the vall de BoÃ, but definitely this is one of the best pizzeria/ trattoria in the area. I recommend you to choose the pizza Cassos, this pizza is made with local mushrooms and the taste is just amazing. Also choose any of the meats that are also from the area. You are not going to regret to eat here. Pizza, pasta and meat. Also check out the deserts, all of them are homemade.

The menu was really good. The food was tasty, even the green salad was excellent...and I was about to ask for a chicken speciality a lady had ordered next to us, it smelled so good...the views from the terrace over the church and the valley were gorgeous.

First time in La Vall de Boi. We were in Taüll, and all restaurants were closed for dinner. Then, the owner of the hotel suggested us to go to La Granja... And it was a fantastic suggestion. Although the menu is not extensive, it does not matter. The quality of the meal (local beef, vegetables, bread...) was outstanding. And the behaviour of the owner, exquisite. In fact, we went again the next day. You will love it. Don't miss La Granja at Erill la Vall!We are so grateful for your splendid opinion about our restaurant, it was a really nice thing to spend a bit of your time to share your experience with each other.We are delighted to see that you have enjoyed two times at our establishment, it was a pleasure to meet you.Best Regards
