Small venue easily missed if you're not paying attention. And parking is a challenge. But if you've made it this far, your taste buds are in for a surprise! Choose a menu selection or custom build your own. Super flavorful burger done to your desired temperature. Make sue you get the house made chips. Wait staff was busy but efficient. Tonight, we absolutely enjoyed a delicious meal of Schnitzel and Beef Gulasch!!! My wife adored the "Balkan" and my "Jäger" was perfect. The Scnitzel is crisp-fried, tender and the perfect thickness; definitely not those thin, dried-out things we have had elsewhere. My daughter is a bit picky (dogs and burgers). Surprisingly, she enjoyed the Beef Gulash and is looking forward to returning soon for more. The apple strudel is a must, and the black forest is over the top. You can't go wrong at the Shnitzel House!!!Thank you so much for your review. It was our pleasure to serve you with fresh homemade german food. See you soon at Schnitzel House.

I honesty can not say enough great things about this restaurant. I usually don't do reviews unless it's over the top. DELICIOUSNESS. I guess it's just because I'm not the type to say bad things and unless I am really impressed with a place I will simply because it makes it easier Also, I am only on the hunt for certain types of cuisine in my travels.. German, Thai, Sushi and occasionally Greek. Soooo here goes: I Have to start with our incredibly sweet waitress Lori, she was just so nice and pure. She helped us choose when we couldn't, and was spot on with everything. Just a genuine sweetheart. Thanks again LoriOn to the food, Im telling you ...do not miss this restaurant!! We were traveling in our RV and decided to check out Sanibel. Our RV park was in FT Myers and we planned on staying one or two nights... Well we ate at Heidi's, and decided to stay longer so the wonderful chef/owner could prepare us our favorite German dish SCHWEINSHAXE (PORK KNUCKLE).Honestly it was the best we've had since having it in Germany. These folks are the real deal...Best pretzels...Best sauerkraut... best red cabbage... best potato pancake... best Sauerbraten... Best Bier...the list goes on!!! Needless to say went back two more times for a total of 3 in 6 days!!!!Thank you again to Axel and Heidi for the absolute best German food EVER and the Best hospitality!!!!! We will definitely be back I wish we lived closer!

I researched the "best" restaurants in Fort Myers for a place to celebrate my birthday, and found many recommendations for Azure Restaurant- including the top recommendation from "Jean le Boeuf"- the top food critic locally. And I've got to say it was a real success! It's a small bistro-type restaurant with an open kitchen, but it has a fabulous menu with so many tempting dishes. We settled on the bacon appetizer- made of thick-sliced bacon with ground mustard, blue cheese, chutney and greens, and it was fabulous! For dinner we had the lamb ragout with vegetables in a rich red sauce, and the triple-tail fish with vegetables over with a Thai sauce- both were delicious. For dessert we had the creme brulee, which was very good, but not much different from any other creme brule. They had a great wine list, and the bread was also excellent. We really want to go back again soon and try some more of their very creative dishes.
