We had reserved a table 6 months in advance and given confirmation twice, but still they had forgotten all about us (12 person for an anniversary!). They also refused to give us food from the menu as they claimed this âclosedâ at 19:00, instead we were offered âfast food/bar menuâ (Hamburger, Sandwich..). No such information was given when the reservation was made. As we had no other options this evening we chose food from the âbar menuâ. Six of us had the hamburger and they served that in 4 different ways (forgetting potatoes, coleslaw and bbq sauce.)When we were leaving another party arrived, they were given a totally different menu with sea food! We asked to talk to the manager but sadly the one responsible had no time.(On top of this they also charged some of us cover charge to get in, forgetting to tell us that this was if we wanted to stay and listened to a band. We left before the band started!)

Et rigtigt hyggeligt sted med kroge og flere udepladser. Udsigt til elven. God brunch til en meget rimelig pris. Gullaschen var i følge min ledsager rigtig god og velkrydret. Kommer gerne forbi igen.

Interesting place and very centrally located in the historic district. Food was very good, prices in the high range but well worth it. The price of wines were more out of pace with what you find elsewhere and the selection was somewhat limited. Service was exceptionally good and you only wish you would find this kind of attitude at other restaurants in Norway. Well worth a visit if you are in or near Mandal.

We have ordered blåskjell as lunch, and I asked if it comes With bread and French fries . The answer was yes.But actually not.So, be aware the portion of blåskjell \ mussels is small, rather snack than luch, comes with 2 small pieces of bread and aioli . No French fries.Great as snack, sounds misleading as lunch .Thank you for your review, Yuliya!We are sorry that the waitress misinformed you, as we do not serve the mussels with french fries. We drop off for a meal from a visit to lindesnes fyr. We are very satisfied of the food, pasta, burger, nachos & pizza. Up to dessert. very good presentation & taste. Very satisfied, would love to come back again in the summer. Forgot to take a photo for the foods since we were a bit hungry.

During our journey through Norway we celebrated our anniversary at Mandalsstua with our family. The service was perfect and the food was served hot and tasted very well. We will definitely come back.
