Conveniently located in the central town square, next to the church, at lunchtime, you can enjoy the good weather on the outside seating (though still on the public pavement where passers-by are not an exception).Delicious food (my burger was divine) and almost quite the right price (I'd say there was about 10% extra).Toilet was not necessarily spik and span as they should have been. This is the best surprise in Le Neubourg -it was Sunday lunchtime and very few places were open and anyway none of them looked very inviting then thanks to Trip Advisor we ventured one street back from the main road ( maybe 50 meters) and found ourselves in a completely different world! A superb find! Modern tasteful decor , incredibly friendly staff, very generous little snacks and great food. We chose to eat from the "menu" 3 courses for 30 euros what great value.Would 100% recommend and BTW the toilets are really clean and nicely maintained which is a bonus!

A very pleasant, yet simply classic village restaurant. Lovely service, log fire and nice linen. The menu was exactly what you expect from a rural restaurant. Foie gras, snails, frogs legs, seafood, duck, steak etc. Profiteroles to die for - huge with ice cream filling and home made chocolate sauce. Good value at e23 for 3 course, e17 for 2. A more extensive 5 course is available at e33everything is home made and lovely.

Enjoyed a stunning meal at La Caleche on our final night in France before heading to Calais.Would thoroughly recommend the 35Euros set menu which was superb! Great ambience, excellent food and extremely pleasant hosts who enjoyed giving descriptions to the various dishes we had chosen. We shall return!!!
