Great place to go. Excellent food. service was prompt and friendly. Thank you Paige. We had the liver and onions as well as the pot roast. They get a 4.5 instead of a 5 because they used those baby carrots in the pot roast. Wish they had hand cut them. No need for butter on the rolls or corn bread. Very moist and tasty. Can't wait to go back. Wish it were closer.

Now called "Dwaynes place". Good food at a fair price. The taste was a bit bland though. Country chicken in white gravy was "ok". The greens were great! Fried okra was perfect as well as well as the hush puppies. Corn bread wasn't great. Including my wife's dinner and a slice of pie it was $25 not counting tip.

Looking for fried fish that tastes fresh with a light, crunchy coating? Britt's Cafe is my new go-to place for fried fish. The home fries were lightly spiced and bite-sized. I ate outside with a friend in the shade. The coleslaw was so fresh it would impress mama. I also ordered a take-home full-size Cuban that hubby devoured with glee.With indoor and outdoor dining, this place is swamped at breakfast and lunch. Enjoy the 11 a.m. lull for quickest service. Though this cafe has been in business 20 years, and the staff has almost no turnover, I just discovered this hidden gem. Find it at the opposite end of the strip of stores from Target on Harden Blvd.Family-owned.Joni! You are a gem!! This was Dec. 24, 2017. We decided to come to this Denny's since it was open 24 hours a day and fairly close to the church we were going to for a special Christmas eve program. We had invited some of our neighbors from our retirement park and ended up offering apologies after the meal since it was my choice to come here. A few of us received the items we picked from the menu but when they arrived the meals were lukewarm. One of the folks took his back to the kitchen and you could hear the cook plain as day say "throw it into the microwave." When it came back the waitress said, "well this should be a little warmer." Our friend wanted a hot meal not a warm meal. There were only a few customers in the place at 5pm but the service seemed very slow. My wife and I decided to not give this place another chance since we have seen things going down hill.
