I keep giving them a chance for redemption, but they always seem to disappoint. ie. On Mother's day they wanted my wife and I to wait, while all the tables were occupied by one person each. Just last week I felt like I was interfering with the waitresses conversations, just to get a cup of coffee. Avoid this one, visit the one on 31 north.

The service here is so much better than the other Waffle House on James Campbell Blvd.! The food is quick, good and accurate. I'm one of those folks that doesn't eat pork, and likes to get a hamburger for breakfast, so this is my place.

You can always expect the same group of folks in there every day. It's the perfect breakfast spot with smiling wait staff that will call ya "honey" and keep your coffee full. I come often for breakfast meetings with business associates or friends.

When we arrived and the server approached us, I asked her if they had any fresh coffee,(because the place was empty), and she replied no. Didn't offer to make any, so I asked for water. When we received the food it was good and hot. But after she left the bill, we never saw her again until the next shift walked in and we saw her walking out the door....Good thing we didn't want anything else, but no one bothered to check on us....

While passing through on a business trip a local took me to The Dotted Lime, said it was a great place for healthy local food. I found it to be fantastic and wished I lived in Columbia so I could return more often. I had the "Something to Taco "Bout", which featured SW Chicken bacon, SW slaw, cheddar & ranch on corn tortillas. I highly recommend it but there were other things on the menu I'd like to try too. Sandwiches to pizza and much of made with locally sourced foods. The floor is painted with chalk board paint so kids can go wild drawing on the floor. Fun, cool atmosphere, though located out on the strip, I think they'd be great in a downtown location.

I heard of Katiepie's from a stranger and tried it right away. I had the meatloaf sandwich and was blown away by the flavors! I had never had a meatloaf sandwich before but read positive reviews beforehand. My server was friendly and attentive. Very good prices.
