Our lunch experience was all positive: good food, freshly prepared and promptly served by friendly staff (not sure why other reviewers 'slammed' the service). Her taco platter & my tamale platter both came w/beans & rice and the sauces were excellent...the gratis chips & salsa went well w/our side of tasty guacamole (wife got their recipe ;-) So we really liked it, though it specializes in take-out...plenty of seating, clean rest rooms, and cheap...what's not to like?

My Sunday AM breakfast before shopping usually winds up here and for good reason. The 3 egg omelet here is hard to beat. Bacon, ham with onions, peppers and mushrooms topped with cheese covers all the bases. Some hash brown potatoes and one large pancake completes the meal. Coffee is still strond and hot. The Wi-Fi is still working. There's 50's music on blast 24/7. It was an unusal madhose this morning BUT I still got served in a reasonable amount of time and they kept the coffee coming. Keep up the good work.

This Shari's restaurant is conveniently located, so we decided to stop here for a quick lunch on our way through Cheyenne one weekday, especially since the sign advertised fresh-baked pies. The restaurant decor was a bit worn and dated, but we were seated promptly when we arrived. Numerous pies beckoned from behind the counter at the entrance, and several customers were waiting in line just to purchase whole pies. I took this as a good sign. Our server was friendly enough, and we tried the salad and sandwich combo, which came with a piece of pie for dessert. Food was average, and the pie was decent, not stellar. We would not go out of our way to eat here again necessarily since the food was only average, but we might stop in again just for pie and coffee next time we are in the area.

I was in the area for a business appointment SO I decided to give the place another try for breakfast. Things have definitely improved. They had a special of chipped beef over biscuits this morning. I hadn't ever tried any since my military day which was 20 years ago BUT I braved it. I had the half portion which was a generous portion of rich white gravy with plenty of beef over a fresh split biscuit with a side of crispy has browns. I added an over easy egg and there was plenty to eat. Coffee was hot and fresh. The waitress kept my cup full. I'll start to come back more often.

Visited in December 2018. I have been there several times and each time was a treat for me. The food is very good and the portions quite large. Every time I have been there it was very busy. My timing was always mid morning. I have never been treated rude by the staff or the owner. My food orders have always come out quick, hot, accurate and tasted great. I always got refills without asking. I don't expect anything more from any eating establishment. The Elvis decore is very interesting. I will return.

Stopped for a late lunch on a drive from Denver to Scottsbluff. It was listed on my GPS as nearby. The service was quick but the dining room was pretty messy. I was the only one in the restaurant but nobody had cleaned up from the lunch rush, despite several employees sitting around.I ordered a burger and fries. The patty was very dry and bland, and the bun was pretty stale. Would not recommend.

Breakfast here with our family was so good! They were very busy this particular morning during Cheyenne Frontier Days, and they got us seated quickly and served delicious food. The helpings were huge and the food was fresh and good. You can tell the owners are there everyday and put their personal touch on things.
