Quaint Cafe in a historic house in Downtown Bonita Springs. Fusion French-American Fresh ingredients, some organic, great coffee, and fabulous chef! Hours monday-Sunday 8-2:30 . Dinners on Friday and Saturday Jan-April from 5-8:00. Pet friendly.

Friend and I had a wonderful Old Bonita Springs touring day. This area is really coming together and worthwhile. It takes one back to your Grandmotherâs Florida. Though a short drive away from current busy civilization, it feels miles away. The Survey Cafe is named after the old town and is in a 1940âs home. Thereâs an enclosed porch and outside deck with umbrella. Outside was actually quite pleasant on a 90 degree day. Friend had a BLT and I chose baked egg (delicious custard taste) and cheddar cheese on a croissant. Croissant (fresh and tasty) adds $1.50 to cost of egg sandwich. Pretty much self serve. Tastes like tap water in their plastic urn (water filter would help). Nice place to eat in context of Old Florida Day with girlfriends. However, little pricey and would not be enough food for the Husbands. Definitely a Girl Kind of Place.

I have eaten at Mel's a few times and I am ALWAYS happy with my meal. Everything is very well priced and delicious...the portions are big and there is usually something left to take home. Their homemade biscuits that they provide are very delicious. The inside of the restaurant brings you back to the 50's and 60's and the staff are verypleasant.

Ended up feasting on biscuits and gravy twice since my other Bonita Springs breakfast eatery had folded its tent and ditched its creditors and employees a few weeks earlier.Friendly, local place. Reasonable prices. Since I'm an old fat guy, the half order was sufficient, but it did leave me wishing for more, so when I ended back for day two. I had no qualms about ordering same as before.Still wish I had been able to collect on that mango mimosa at The Garden Cafe, but worse things have happened.

Been here many times. Today was a shock!Eggs Benedict were so terrible! Egg yolks over cooked. Plating was atrocious. Not even a little tomato for garnish. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onion. Obviously was a frozen meat pattie. Could have used it for a hockey puck. Did not toast the bun. Charged 75 cents for a tiny bit of grilled onion. Ridiculous May never come back. Too many other choices in Naples.
