Le Ptit Zinc

My hairdresser recommended this unassuming little bistro on the pathway leading down to the beach. The set meal looked uninteresting, so we had a superb two course lunch on a blistering hot day. The service, standard of cooking and quality were all first-class.It is well worth a return visit next time we go to La Croix Valmer

Le Comptoir Beldi

Take a walk in the very heart of Sainte-Maxime, and discover our fine homemade kicthen.... for gourmets only!

Situated in the old town of Sainte-Maxime, this restaurant was a great find for lunch. The 3 course Plat du Jour was outstanding value at around 15 Euros and a very tasty 2 courses it was. The service was wonderful, efficient and very friendly. It easy to order, with all their offerings and menus detailed on iPads which they gave you. Nice touch! Washed down by a reasonably priced bottle of Rose and the quick lunch turned into something a bit longer.Well worth the visit, but don't go Sunday or Monday.....it's closed!

La Palmeraie is the restaurant in the Chateau de Valmer and its audience should be the chateau's guests, but the restaurant is too upscale for everyday cuisine. There are no light cuisine options.Breakfast 28 EUR/person--for us, the price was prohibitive, the quantity too much, and we ate elsewhereDinner: We ate there once during a 6 night stay. We spent 141 EUR for 2 Entrees, wine, and dessert. The food was excellent and of high quality, but we can't eat like this at every meal or even once per day. La Palmeraie is a great special occasion restaurant, but offerings are too upscale for a captive hotel audience. The Chateau restaurant has two menus during the main tourist season: a seasonal carte and a daily menu. The Chateau restaurant only has serious/upscale offerings, with prices that match those in upscale restaurants in Paris and Aix-en-P of similar quality. Good selection of wine by the half-bottle.
