I stayed at the Chatham Inn Hotel and enjoyed a meal in the wine bar and in the main restaurant. The quality of food, choice of wine and service was exceptional.Certainly not cheap but due to the perfectly executed cooking definitely value for money. The wild boar ragu pappardelle was some if the best pasta I've had anywhere. I was travelling on my own, having a few days break from a business trip, the staff and management made me feel welcome and relaxed whilst still providing first class service. I can't recommend this restaurant and hotel enough.Dear David CThank you so much for your excellent review. We entertained some local friends with whom we were staying. It took a little while to choose our meals and we then ordered as volumes appeared large, each couple shared at least one course. My wife and I chose the salmon with king prawns. The meal was tasty but towards the end of eating this dish, I realised that we had not had the prawns at all. I told the waiter when he collected the plates and he said that he would talk to the kitchen. When the bill arrived, we noticed that the dish had been charged at full price even though it had not been the full portion. We were not happy to stay and argue, so I paid a 10% service charge instead of the expected twenty per cent. This rather spoilt what could have been an excellent evening out to dinner.

Our group of six friends met at Beacon for dinner ahead of a chamber music festival concert. We'd never been before, but we were delighted. Everything we ordered from the limited menu was wonderful, especially the sole with a light curry sauce and grapes (sensational). Though full,the dining room was quiet enough that we could hear each other with ease. Our waitress was professional and helpful. We'll no doubt come back many times.

Had a wonderful meal with family totaling seven of us. The inn was accommodating as we changed our reservation multiple times both to increase people and move the time. Mooncussers was highly recommended to us by our realtor and cousins who live in Chatham. We were not disappointed. All fish dinners were excellent. The lobster fondue was particularly noteworthy. All meals, drinks and appetizers came as ordered and we had a great time.

It was our last dinner in Cape Cod and it was a great evening with our teen. We had the seared striped bass, two ways chicken, fresh oysters, and duck confit and spinach salad. The food was cooked just right and the sauce for the fish was very flavorful. Our son really liked the sour apple in the duck salad. Our host Antonella was great!
