It is northeast of Macon and bordered on the east by the Oconee River. The rapid current of the river here made this an attractive location to build a city. It was the capital of Georgia from 1804 to 1868, notably during the American Civil War. Milledgeville was preceded as the capital city by Louisville and was succeeded by Atlanta, the current capital. Today U.S. Highway 441 connects Milledgeville to Madison, Athens, and Dublin.

I have become accoustomed to the awesome service I receive when Brittney is on duty; so I was disappointed when the service was lacking when she was not working. My husband and I stopped in and were seated immediately; and received our water quickly. My order was not completely correct; but the food was delicious. I requested extra crunchies from the server; he said he would bring them-- never did. Neglectful in keeping our water glasses filled. I did ask for a glass of ice though and it was brought out immediately. My husband said his food was good except for one of the egg rolls-- said it was terrible. He ate the other.

We go to this restaurant almost every week. It has Japanese, Chinese, Thai and sushi. We love the Japanese bento boxes- the shrimp bento and beef teriyaki are the best! In the bento box, you get meat, vegetables, pork dumplings, salad and California roll .We always get fast, friendly service and the food is consistently great. If you like Asian food, this place is a must!

We are always treated in a friendly manner when we dine here. The food is good and a great value. Portions of food are large--especially for the price paid. It is located in the corner spot in a shopping center-- and sits behind another popular restaurant. This makes it difficult to see if you do not know it's there. Give them a try! They offer delivery and many people also order carry-out.

It may seem strange that I believe the tilapia is the best at a Chinese restaurant; but that is what I think. The tilapia is delicious and is some of the best that I have had around the area. Also, it is a good value. It comes with fried rice or fries. Unfortunately, the rice or fries are not consistently really good like the fish. Of course, China Wings also makes very good wings of different flavors. These are also very reasonable in price.One thing that I do not appreciate at China Wings is that they no longer will give you a cup of water. They used to keep at pitcher of water out for refills. Now, if you want water, you have to buy a bottle. The only free refill on a beverage is sweet tea; even though they have a fountain drink machine in the dining room. Every other restaurant in town that I am aware of that has the beverage machine out in the dining area offers free refills. And all will gladly give (or sell) you a cup of ice water.

The BEST chinese food in town. Moderiately priced, very fresh, fast service. Opened recently in our town, and the food is the very best in Milledgeville without a doubt.
