This place is amazing! The hotel Speer was an average stay snd the redtaurant was hardly frequented, until the concept changed some 7 years ago. The owner focused on the hotel and sublet the restaurant, and since then its packed. The food is nice but rather expensive! The service has room for improvement ;)

We have been many times to this restaurant for their "all you can eat" weekly lunch buffet. The food is tasty and authentic. The price is very cheap for Zurich area. Well located. Just five minutes walk from the lake of Zurich and Rapperswil famous wooden bridge over the lake. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are also very friendly. Be careful the lunch buffet menu is different everyday. Better check it online.

We were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff and were seated straight away. The food took a while however that was understandable ordering one of the biggest sharer platters on the menu and we were also told by the waitress that we would have to wait, so no bad surprises there. The food arrived sooner than expected and was absolutely delicious! Very happy with the variety of the platter, value for money and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Would 100% recommend this place.
