We had a corner table with a lovely view. The location is how you imagine Spain to be, rustic, rural, sunny and terracotta coloured!Inside they have loads of photos of the many celebrity guests that have visited over the years.Food was all local style, and delicious.

Typical Catalan masÃa in Collserola. Outstanding views on the mountains. Very nicely decorated restaurant with plenty of room and good service. Good food in the range of Catalan traditional cuisine. Very good prices during the week, and reasonable prices in the week end. It's worth the visit!!!

We came for dinner (they have a whole separate menu for lunch). At first, everything started well. They were really nice and tried to find a nice table for all of us. The restaurant is well decorated, very hipster style, so we had great expectations. Then the food came: the fries were undercooked, the brandada (good by the way) was cold, the cheddar sauce was not heated, the quantites were ridiculous for some dishes given the prices in Barcelona standards! The bread came in a paper bag and the burgers in a 'MacDo' type of contenant 'for a stylish presentation': what a waste when the whole planet is trying to reduce its waste right now! Then we had to pay. We wanted to pay separately what we had ordered but they say it was not possible (while it is possible anywhere else we had been to in Barcelona!). I am still not sure why. In conclusion: a good presentation of restaurant and plate does not mean good cuisine: they could do much better.

Saturday morning:The restaurant sent me an SMS, I cannot beleive what I'm reading, "reservation canceled due to an administrative error" Then I call back and they didnt know what to tell me, the reason to canceled was full of doubts..Why they really canceled our reservartion? Will never know, but I tell you what:This "mistake" is unforgivable and I will never eat there..(Isolated case?)Dear Marc S,Thank you for your feedback on our Trip Advisor profile.We are deeply regret that day you could not eat at our restaurant El Mirador de Can Cases. What happened is that you requested a reservation through a reservation platform called "restaurants.com". That request arrived to us and we declined because the restaurant was full. Sorry because the person who answered the phone (some waiter, but no one responsible for the reservations) did not give a convincing answer to you.We hope to see you again. Better to call us to our cell phone.Regards,

In the square just beside Sant Cugat's monastry, probably one of the most traditional restaurant in town.Waitress are really efficient and sympathetic...you can be sure they will do their best to make your stay agreeable.Tapas are good and cheap, but far from outstanding.Anyway, we really like the place and go often.

Good typical catalonian restaurant in the city center of Sant Cugat.Service really professional and the food quality high in all the plates offered by the restaurant specially lamp and bacalao at grill.Beef and iberican pork at good level too, wine portfolio just and focus on catalan wines and some rioja (little beat basic in my oppinion)In general good restaurant special for dinner with friends, family or business trip.

Family of four went for dinner last night. The waiter made some excellent recommendations and each dish was more delicious than the last. Aubergine sticks with honey we're unlike anything we've ever had, pulpo Galicia was outstanding!! The recommended wine was excellent and very fairly priced. The inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting, the outdoor seating is perfect for nice weather. Definitely had the sense that we were the only tourists there, looks like a place that is known to locals. The staff and our waiter in particular were extremely friendly and helpful, even to get us a taxi at the end of the night. Bodega Tomas made our first night in Barcelona perfect - moltes gracies!!Thank you very much for your comments, it is a pleasure for us!!Best regards!
