This was a go to of ours during my time in Ulaanbaatar. We would often have lunch here. They have a good variety of foods and are very reasonably priced.

The decor is different with the plants in the walls and it came across to me as somewhere a lot of backpackers may go. It does look a little tired I think.Service was ok, wifi didn't work. I ordered some cheesecake that was still completely frozen.....basically lime flavoured ice. Wouldn't recommend

"Turning Point Café has become one of my favorite places in Ulaanbaatar. It is a cozy jazz café conveniently located on Tserendorj Street where they serve an excellent food such as sweet and savory crepe, Panini, soups and salads, a getaway from traditional Mongolian food. There is great music; the last time when I visited the Café I popped into one of the Jazz sessions which I and my friends really enjoyed. We are looking forward for the next session of live music."

The Bean Tree 200.25 is a small coffee shop on Peace Avenue in the Somag Plaza Building in the 13th District of Ulaanbaatar. It is exactly at the third bus stop going East after leaving the bus stop at the Blue Sky Building across from Chinggis Khaan Square.I have been there a number of times and I really enjoy it a lot. It is clean with a nice restaurant in the Somag Plaza Building. They have WiFi and a nice assortment of beverages and sandwiches and deserts. They have a small library of books available to browse.
