Find out what International restaurants to try in Mongolia. Mongolia /mɒŋˈɡoʊliə/ ( listen) (Monggol Ulus in Mongolian; Монгол Улс in Mongolian Cyrillic) is a landlocked unitary sovereign state in East Asia. Its area is roughly equivalent with the historical territory of Outer Mongolia, and that term is sometimes used to refer to the current state. It is sandwiched between China to the south and Russia to the north. Mongolia does not share a border with Kazakhstan, although only 37 kilometres (23 mi) separates them.

But after I complained the food improved. The waitress was very nice and prompt with the beer. The servings are very big and well worth the money (it is not expensive). Right across the road from Danista Nomad Guest House/ Hostel. Both places recommended
Newly enhanced Tenger restaurant located in first floor of Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace. Renovated in January, 2018 this 5-star fine dining restaurant offers the modern atmosphere with specially crafted cuisines from award wining executive French chef.
The breakfasts here were good. The usual buffet, albeit small, but there was an egg station and good cold choices: cereals, pastries and selection of breads to toast. They are also well set up to allow people to take pastries away (brown bags). Our one niggle was when we tried to go for dinner one night only to find that the restaurant was effectively booked for a private group and that we would have to go to the Tapas bar to eat, albeit with the same menu. No-one had thought to advise us that this was the case not even leave a note on the door of the restaurant. The staffâs limited English meant that we could not get a reasonable explanation from them so we had to ask the front desk staff who quickly explained the situation. Once that was cleared up the dinner we had was nice and tasty and very much welcomed after our 3 day in country trip.

MB Beer Plus is a brewpub that has been open since 2003. They brew German-style beers and feature Continental food.
I go there often with my friends. The reason to go there is decent place have some own beer with 3-4 different kind. They have Amber, Black Consul-dark beer and yellow beer too. Also their food selection is not bad. Warm atmosphere and good service. Location is good. Price is reasonable.

It doesn't look much from the outside but is nicer inside. The staff were quite attentive and spoke some English. The menu is quite vast and should have something for everyone. Sushi, soups, Pizza, pasta, chicken, steaks, burgers and more plus a huge drinks option. Prices are not the very cheapest but the portions are large and taste good. I had sushi to start and then the Orange Chicken and I enjoyed both. They also have cider here! Good all round experience

An all-day dining buffet restaurant serving breakfast through dinner with a splendid array of food selections during each meal from Western to Asian cuisine. The dynamic open kitchen has distinct live food stations including pasta, soups, dumplings, and g
Our tour group stayed in the Shangri-La Hotel (reviewed separately). This dinner meal was part of our tour package, so we cannot comment on the prices. The buffet selections were excellent, and the restaurant was very pleasant. Service was also excellent. We also had two breakfasts in the Cafe Park, and both were very good. In addition, the restaurant/hotel provided us with a mini-breakfast (all that one could want at 4:00 am) before we had to leave for our flight to the South Gobi Desert. We highly recommend this restaurant (and hotel).Dear realbigbear,Thank you for sharing your dining & hotel stay experience with us! We are glad to hear that our restaurant made a great impression on you and it is an honor to receive your kind compliments!Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!Sincerely, Terence Tan | General Manager

Nestled in the heart of the iconic Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace in central Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, âKhanâs Korazonâ is the first of its kind in the capital city. Finally, a special hangout spot for friends, coworkers, and families to come relax and share in
Beautiful atmosphere, really nice bar, wonderful and creative selection of cocktails, excellent service and friendly staff. The manager of the hotel, Dirk Bansemer and event manager Tamir Tsolmon do a wonderful job at running the hotel And overseeing conferences. I had a medical conference there and it was run superbly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for medical conferences and, this lounge is a great place for socializing and relaxing

This place is only a few minutes from my hotel (blue sky). I came here for a late lunch and there was only one table occupied. The lamb chop was good and so is the beer. This restaurant is also just beside the choijin Lama Temple so perfect either before or after visiting the temple.

This was a go to of ours during my time in Ulaanbaatar. We would often have lunch here. They have a good variety of foods and are very reasonably priced.

Having spent two weeks in the countryside eating mutton, it was a delight to find this small vegan restaurant in the streets of Ulaanbaatar. Not only was the food good, it was very cheap. A vegan burger and chips, and veggie spaghetti bolognaise came to 25,000MNT (around $9.50). The restaurant is two rooms in an older style building. Service was certainly friendly although had to wait around 15 minutes for the food to come out. Well worth the 10 minute walk down here from the Holiday Inn.
