We popped in for lunch. Had fish and bandeja paisa. You can't go wrong with bandeja paisa so it was very nice but the fish was not. Didn't taste too fresh and both portions (with garlic sauce and without sauce) were not enjoyable. The service was nice though and you can't beat the value as in most places in Colombia :)

We bake and sale probably the best CINNAMON ROLLS , freshly baked. An excellent Italian Pizza. We open every day of the week for our customers. We also serve a very good coffee here in Guatapé along with some others home baked pastries.

Very close to the El Penon, between the rock and the parking lot. Reasonable prices, about $6-$7 for a meal with a large portion. Sat at window counter/bar overlooking the beautiful scenery of the surrounding water. See photos. All food is made fresh, no pre-made food, so took about 20-25 minutes for our order to arrive. Very tasty food. Free bathroom for patrons.

This is the Del Porto not in the Portabello Hotel, around the corner in a very cool enclosed square with artisan shops not as touristy, the service was better and more attentive than usual and the coffee drinks, pastries are of top quality mirroring European cafés. That said, the location at the Portabello Hotel (where we stayed) was very nice too, but the service was in super slo-mo and they were out of certain items on the menu, I felt the other location was a more authentic and enjoyable atmosphere BUT BOTH ARE TRULY EXCELLENT CHOICES

If you are looking for a cute lunch spot off the busy plaza, you should go to this place. The owner is amazingly friendly and cooks delicious food at low prices. We had a minestrone which was fabulous, arepas as tasty as ever and freshly made juices. We even could see the lake from our table. Totally recommend this lovely place.

Delicious vegetarian and vegan food, and amazing service. We came here almost everyday to enjoy the great food, cheesecake and fresh juices and to talk to the very nice employees. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Guatape.
