Ate here many times during my visit to Guatape. Delicious food, give me the Pad Thai any day! Delicious, and excellent fast service and a really nice chilled environment to spend the evening overlooking the lake and drinking a beer, or 2... Or 5! Definitely recommend.

This was an unexpected surprise in Guatape. The restaurant is located in a second floor with amazing water view. Most local restaurants in the area are limited to local / typical colombian food (that I love). At Don De Sam you can find everything between Bandeja Paisa and skewers, to great Indian and Italian.We were offered samples of the specialty of the day (Indian food), and after we order Same came to our table with samples of new dishes - not in the menu - for us to taste. I ended up ordering the traditional Chicken Tikka Masala and loved it.Our family of 8 had a great time and enjoyed will definitely go back.

I was surprised to find this place so budget friendly with quality that cannot go unnoticed. Sitting on top of the hotel, this is a penthouse-like environment with great decor, ample seating, ambiance, and a fantastic view over the lake. Clean, beautifully accented, it made me sweat, thinking I'd stumbled into some 5 Star restaurant with that kind of pricing. Wow, the menu had great selections with pasta, seafood, soups, salads, and more! At super economical prices! The wait staff was friendly, seating perfect, and an overall great feeling sitting by the gas torches/heaters overlooking parts of Guatape and the surroundings. We ordered cordon bleu, and I am here to tell you, it was fantastic! The sauce had an excellent flavor and consistency, the ceasar salad was delicious, the rustic potato slices were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. De li cious! Besides that, the presentation of the meal was indeed 5 Star at 3 Star pricing! Great value. Cordon Blue (their menu spelling) and drinks, about $20 USD.
