Location, Location!
Reviewed By hotel_aficionado2011We wouldn't say it is the best, however it is one of our favorites. It is located in the heart of villa de Leyva. beautiful colonial look. a bit rustic. Service was great. They have a parking lot few blocks from hotel. They also have a Bistro in the first floor. The room was a quite small, very colonial. Bathroom on the smaller size, Bed was ok. TV and internet available. This is a very nice place however keep in mind is rustic and not your typical hotel. It is a big house with several rooms. You can hear everything, doors closing, steps, because everything is very close. Overall the service was fantastic. Location is just perfect. Walking distance to la Plaza. We only stay for one night, during a low season weekend. We felt we were in Spain. Think of a mediterranean colonial architecture with the Colombian flavors and great service.

We are a reminiscent house of the seventeenth-century with a Spanish colonial architecture, with high ceilings and walls of more than one arm thick, located in the historic center of Villa de Leyva. After a careful restoration, the Posada became a place of rest, with 14 rooms organized around a central courtyard and wide corridors.
Adorable hotel
Reviewed By sunshinegirl613Adorable rooms, spacious and nice. All amenities were provided. Breakfast is included and is quite nice, we had ham and cheese omelets with coffee and juice. Located very close to the city center, very walkable. Great place for a weekend trip to see the town.

Modern comfortable hotel
Reviewed By MuskokaflierThis hotel has only been open 2 months and there is still work being done and it's going to be even better when it's finished. We loved our stay here; we extended our stay twice. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is adequate but not abundant. Best of all is the room. Beds and pillows are fantastic, and the shower is beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nevermind the noise
Reviewed By Debora AGreat corner room with two small balconies. Hot and decent sized showers. Space in room, although bit more cupboard space needed. Wifi worked well. Service from all levels was great. Some English spoken by manager. Above supermarket. Secure parking. All that said, it was one of the noisiest places I have ever stayed. This is nothing to do with the hotel, but if you can sleep through trick engines, roosters, salsa, car alarms, firecrackers and dogs barking all night, then this hotel is good value.

Escaping the city
Reviewed By TrishainbrazilMy fiancé and I spent three nites in the beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Maria Del Rosario’s sweet disposition. She provided with ideas of what to do each day and information about the city. The breakfast was a typical breakfast and served to order each day. The gore is off the beaten path which makes it a getaway. If you want to be within walking distance it’s not for you. But if you want a tranquil nites skew with a spectacular view, stay here. We had more than enough hot water, sleep and a great view.

Very good value
Reviewed By AdamBilgyAbout 500m away from the bus terminal down a quiet backstreet. Only 10 mins walk to the bus station and various restaurants. The hotel is a tasteful combination of new and old, with exposed beams, whitewashed walls and a good outside terrace area overlooking a small central courtyard. We had a very warm welcome and were shown to our room. The room was clean, a reasonable size with firm comfortable bed but blankets which isn't a favourite of ours. There was a hanging rail and small storage area, but no hangers?! The shower was warm and powerful. WiFi signal very intermittent, which also gave issues on check out when oaying by card. No safe in the room. Kitchen use not oossible, but can use the micriwave and fridge. They cahrged me £6 foe a broken toilet seat, which was flimsy very poor quality but i didnt have the time to argue this or would have refused. For £13 per night, it was an absolute bargain.

Reviewed By 506isabellavI selected the hotel because it was pet friendly so we could come with my dog, not really knowing what to expect. It ended up being a great place, we had an excellent room, great private bathroom, excellent location, has a very nice inner patio - definitely recommended.

A Knowledgeable adviser about the surrounding areas and attractions. I stayed in a 3 bedroom dorm. The bed was comfortable, the lighting in the room was perfect and gentle on the eyes. Fast internet. It was a quiet environment, convenient location central to town. Shower is good and hot. Kitchen is a normal kitchen. Living room is lovely and the hammock is a bonus. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By Jaime AWe went there with my family and the host was kind enough to tell us about what's has to be seen on Villa de Leyva, good location and service, hot water and clean bathrooms, no cards allowed though and I saw a cockroach around my room but I don't think is big deal.
