We had pulled pork, pork ribs, beef brisket, wings, greens, mac and cheese, potato salad, fried okra, beans, and onion rings. EVERYTHING was excellent, including the house made sauces. This is a rare restaurant where the pit master knows how to treat each meat differently to produce the best product. The wings were particular, dry rubbed, smoked and then fried for a crispy finish. Good , fast, service. We ate plenty and carried out a box of leftovers for $30. This is arguably the best BBQ restaurant I have been to. Highly recommend.

Johnsons is a comfortable placed to eat BBQ. It has and excellent choice of items on the menu and ALL of them a excellent. It is almost always nearly full! It has a very large seating area so normally you can get it relatively quickly. Excellent and helpful service can be expected. They provide a very large glass for you beverage so you don't run out quickly, and when you do they promptly refill it. The waiters are polite and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit! I will definitely visit again very soon.

Finally found a true southern cookinâ joint. The buttermilk chicken is A-mazing. Perfect crispy outer layer and moist inside with a hint of sweetness. Drank the homemade lemonade and you can tell itâs made with real lemons. To bad my belly couldnât finish my meal. Otherwise I would try the dessert. Will be back to try other items. â by far the best chicken EVER!
