The server was EXCELLENT, the food was delicious and the REWARDS program AMAZING, the beers are to the point, frozen mugs. Nice environment, even we went in almost CLOSING time, nobody was rushing US or giving US any type of attitude.

Went here on the advice of others for takeout fish and chips (pub style) on a Friday night. Very well prepared and generous portions. It has an open atmosphere, with a large bar and many tables; seems quite popular. Not a pub like youâd find in Ireland, but pleasant. Iâd go back for the fish and chips.

Simple, clean, healthy, delicious food at a fair cost in a nostalgic atmosphere. The Whistle Stop sits next to a train track and train museum, located in the historic district in an old, historic building that was once a drug store. Stepping inside is like stepping back in time. There was live piano music and antique decor with detail. Plenty of parking. Charming little town. Service was good, but they forgot to bring me coffee!!

1st time here. A very nice in town eatery serving all 3 meals daily. Clean and roomy. Eggs over, home fries, toast, and corned beef hash.. It was all good but the hash. Only grilled on one side until black, and i do mean black, Why is is cooks are to lazy to flip it over and cook on 2 sides?? YUCK..

Finally found a true southern cookinâ joint. The buttermilk chicken is A-mazing. Perfect crispy outer layer and moist inside with a hint of sweetness. Drank the homemade lemonade and you can tell itâs made with real lemons. To bad my belly couldnât finish my meal. Otherwise I would try the dessert. Will be back to try other items. â by far the best chicken EVER!

Buddy Freddy's is a buffet country-style restaurant, featuring a vast array of hot items, salad bar, and desserts.The vegetables alone are worth the price. I especially like the collard greens. Other delicious features include the meat loaf and fried chicken.I wanted to give a special shout-out to our waitress Brenda, a long-term employee. Brenda always provides great service to her customers as she is welcoming and attentive. She kept our iced-tea glasses filled, offered us hot, fresh, delicious yeast rolls, and checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. And we were!

Very interesting place, loaded with charm and atmosphere. A friend and I visited for breakfast -- both of us chose toast, which sounds underwhelming but definitely is not! Two slices of artisan bread, mine spread with black bean hummus, topped with crumbled goat cheese and avocado; hers was topped with tzatziki, feta and cucumber. On the side were blueberries, grapes, pineapple, citrus and watermelon. Everything was fresh and flavorful.My friend had jalapeño lemonade, which was very good, although I thought it a bit too spicy to be refreshing and thirst-quenching. I had coffee, which was ... tasty, though not too bold (I like bold).The Corner Store is located in downtown Plant City, and we chose to dine at one of the sidewalk tables in front of the restaurant. It was a fun atmosphere, perhaps a bit noisy when a huge truck roars through town, but the noise didn't detract from our conversation at all.All in all, this was a very satisfying place and we'll definitely return, perhaps for lunch, sometime in the near future. I got the feeling that the menu is constantly changed up according to the season, but I'm confident that the menu is created with great care and attention to offering only the freshest and tastiest food available.Thank you so much for your kind review! Johnsons is a comfortable placed to eat BBQ. It has and excellent choice of items on the menu and ALL of them a excellent. It is almost always nearly full! It has a very large seating area so normally you can get it relatively quickly. Excellent and helpful service can be expected. They provide a very large glass for you beverage so you don't run out quickly, and when you do they promptly refill it. The waiters are polite and helpful. I really enjoyed my visit! I will definitely visit again very soon.

We met our Scottish friends here (a 1/2 way location between Tampa and Orlando. Granma greeted us and asked: âDo you think theyâll like our food?â Hereâs the answer: âmost surely did!â We had our choice of a super ample buffet plus oh-so-yummy desserts: bread pudding, strawberry shortcake, and peach cobbler, OH MY. We maybe hit heavy on the fried but daily entree âaddsâ make this not an issue.

We had pulled pork, pork ribs, beef brisket, wings, greens, mac and cheese, potato salad, fried okra, beans, and onion rings. EVERYTHING was excellent, including the house made sauces. This is a rare restaurant where the pit master knows how to treat each meat differently to produce the best product. The wings were particular, dry rubbed, smoked and then fried for a crispy finish. Good , fast, service. We ate plenty and carried out a box of leftovers for $30. This is arguably the best BBQ restaurant I have been to. Highly recommend.
