Mr. Herman Meyer has been in Katy for 50+ years and owning MIDWAY BBQ. He also owns a meat processing plant where hunters can get their game processed. With the processing he has a meat market for domestic meat and groceries.It is his own rub and uses oak for his pit fires and it is an old fashioned steel pipe pit. Nothing better to cook with. He has brisket, ribs, sausage, and chicken cooked on the pit. Then he has chicken fried ribeye and hamburgers. Great fresh food.

This is a great restaurant which is good for the entire family, including children. Their blended brisket, chicken and ribs were delicious. All the side dishes were very good also. Their homemade rolls are wonderful, which they walk around with baskets full of them and you can have as many as you want and even take some home with leftovers you may be taking from your meal that you may not have finished. Highly recommend.

Ordered a moist brisket sandwich, onion rings and cole slaw. The ring were excellent and the sandwich was good until the last bite that seems to be beef jerky instead of moist beef. What stood out was the sauce which was "sweet heat" Really good. The counter girls was extremely pleasant and the man whom delivered the food was very nice. The store was really clean. Overall a plus lunch experience.
