Liberty means many things to many different people. It is a celebration of the great American farmer and the rich bounty he puts on our tables. It is a celebration of America's melting pot of rich ethnic cooking styles. It is a celebration of the resurgen
Visited on Wednesday afternoon. Possibly 2 other tables at the most. We ordered appetizer chips/blue cheese and meals. The server checked on us 4 times prior to the appetizers coming out to see if we needed anything??? Ah, yes! The appetizer! After the appetizer the server check on us 3 more times before the hamburger arrived. Very attentive, but a waste of time. The blue cheese chips were soggy and not crisp. Then the hamburger came-it had been compacted into a hard ball and flattened squished and dried out. It was not juicy or tasty, but a dry hard clump. Not 45 seconds after the server dropped off the food they came back to see how the food was and if we needed anything-we were still fixing and cutting to eat!!!!The trips to the table every 3-4 minutes was crazy. The food was not that great.Michele739,Thank you your review and letting us know about your recent experience. This is a real old-time oyster bar! The shuckers do their job right in front of you, and they are experts. 2 dozen oysters, and not a single piece of roster shell! The oysters were big and plump, and were the best that we had in Columbia.

California Dreaming is a family favorite! Love the charm of the building, but the food is the best around! The California Dreaming Salad with house dressing is the best salad I have ever tasted, the tasty buttery croissant compliments this meal!

Went into Cantina 76 to grab a drink and relax from our travel. The margaritas were tasty and they have a decent beer selection. The tacos were delicious!! I recommend the bbq pork taco. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Maybe a little too quick as you can feel a bit rushed. My only complaint would be I wished the drink glasses were bigger :)

I haven't eaten t the Hunter-Gatherer in a long time. Friends of ours wanted to try it prior to going to the James Taylor concert. I read several reviews the day before and everything sounded good. We decided to order from the Chef's Special menu. I had lamb chops and my wife had the gnocchi special. Another of our party had the gnocchi and his wife got the Mac n' Cheese dish. She enjoyed her dish, my lamb chops were OK, but I wouldn't order them again. The two in our party that had the gnocchi were very disappointed. The both said, "No flavor with a burned after taste." They asked for vinegar which they applied liberally, to add some flavor to the dish. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule due to the concert and didn't have time to send the dishes back.

Had the half dozen raw oysters. Very small in size. Couple of beers. Served in a can. Bothers some on other reviews, but no biggie. That's how I have them at home. Tacos were great. All 3 of us had them. Pasta with added shrimp had tails still on. Odd for a place of this caliber. Our server hit all her marks but not very engaged like something was going on personally. Very short, quite unfriendly. Then again, not sure what's going on in her life. We'll visit again. Hello Inkeddood, thank you for visiting Pearlz Oyster Bar. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed our oysters, along with our beers! We are appreciative of your feedback, and can assure you we will be addressing our staff with it! Thanks for the review, and we look forward to serving you again soon!

We were late getting here for dinner and decided to go a little lighter. My husband frequents here due to travels with his job. This was my first visit. The burger was good and the onion rings were great. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were excellent. Nice atmosphere, great service, and really good food. Glad I can add this to the list of great restaurants in Columbia!! Try it!
