We had not eaten here in years and decided to try it out again, we felt the food has definitely gone downhill. My husband always got their nachos which he ordered this time and ate about a fourth of them, the chips were not good. If you are going to make your own chips, please make sure they are cooked all the way and you might want to tell people they are seasoned with something, not sure what. My sandwich was just ok, wouldn't order it again.

I don’t know who writes the reviews for yelp and trip advisor, But if they say this restaurant is any good, they are terrible liars! My husband and I wanted something Italian and we looked at the reviews. So we gave it a shot! We hadn’t even been seated when a server came over and wanted to know what we wanted for an appetizer. We had no water had not even looked at the menu and wanted a cocktail. By the way there was no one else in the restaurant. A sure sign! We told him we needed some time. He brought the drinks but he was back on that appetizer! Again what did we want? We said we didn’t want an appetizer. I looked at the menu and decided on spaghetti Bolognese. But I would like a meatball. This is an Italian restaurant and they do not serve meatballs!! My husband also went with the spaghetti. I did not want a salad and I excused myself and went to the restroom. When I came back my husband looked at me. They had brought his salad with blue cheese dressing and it was rancid! At this point we got up and found the manager. He was useless. He kept giving us excuses, and excuses were not what we wanted to hear. He said that the restaurant does not serve meatballs! An Italian restaurant – no meatballs! The servers need severe training. There are way too many awesome restaurants in this area. Do not go to Johnny’s Italian steakhouse.Thank you for your feedback and patronage. Brian was the manger on duty and he did call me the evening of your experience. He mentioned you wanted a specific Italian dressing we didn’t offer and some Italian meatballs, both of which he didn’t know how to accommodate at the time. I’m sorry for your frustrations. I was pleased he made the effort to call me. I assure he would do anything within his ability to accommodate as well.We love to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests. I’m sorry we failed you here. We will always prepare things that are not offered on our menu if we have the product available and the guests has the time.I assure you most rave about our service and cuisine. Our business model does not rush our much valued guests out the door. We desire to be very present, but not overbearing. We do encourage our servers to offer appetizers as most people love them. I’m sorry this frustrated you. I will follow up with the server.I hate to hear you didn’t stay to enjoy your meals you ordered. We appreciate you and are very sorry you didn’t get the real Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse experience. If you would like to discuss your experience more in depth, please reach out to me personally.I’d love to see you enjoy some great service and awesome cuisine. I’m happy to suggest some of our very popular and highly recommended items. If you have the time I can even personally prepare you some meat balls and special Italian dressing.I hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you.Kind Regards,Joe PoyeGeneral [email protected]

Rick's Tavern

I was here several years ago and decided to try it for lunch again. Not much has changed. I had the grilled mahi-mahi but as a sandwich on a bun, not served over rice. They were happy to accommodate me but then charged extra for the fries so the sandwich with fries was $14 which is pretty high IMHO. Service was good but the place was pretty empty. The shredded lettuce on the sandwich tasted like it was from a bag and full of preservatives. I had to scrape it off. The fries were crinkle cut and average. Not a bad lunch but not the kind of place I'd rush back to. They do have lots of live entertainment for the evening crowd.

Ordered a cheeseburger on the 29th of December 2016. One of the worst burgers I've ever had. It was totally tasteless and no seasoning. It was like eating with a head cold and you couldn't taste. The bun was not toasted, so the bun also was horrible. I've eaten here before, and the food I ordered then was differerent and it also was not good at all. Even the wings are not as good as many other places, even though some may thing so, but they have been drinking, and anything tastes good to them. The fries were very greasy and most likely double dipped in the grease to heat them up. Frozen fries, not fresh....imagine that! Many better places to eat, I won't go there anymore, I'll take my clients elsewhere.
